    Abstract: A daisy chain communication system and method, and a battery management system are provided. The daisy chain includes a first slave controller and a plurality of second slave controllers, and a master controller transmits command information to the plurality of second slave controllers through the first slave controller. The daisy chain responses to the command information. A network response period is divided into a plurality of sub phases. The second slave controller transmits transmission data with a consistent data length to a slave controller of an upstream node cascaded therewith at each sub phase; the first slave controller transmits the transmission data from the second slave controller cascaded therewith at each sub phase to the master controller. In the present disclosure, a data length transmitted by each slave controller is consistent, so that equalization of power consumption between corresponding battery modules that supply power to each slave controller is achieved.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to use of homoharringtonine in manufacturing a drug for treating an acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. A homoharringtonine compound is prepared as a drug for treating the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and is applied to the treatment of the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. The homoharringtonine compound can significantly reduce the programmed ribosomal frameshifting (PRF) efficiency of the mRNA of HIV-1 during the translation of a Gag-Pol fusion protein to substantially decrease the translation efficiency of the Pol protein. Therefore, the cell fails to produce protease, integrase, and reverse transcriptase obtained via Pol splicing such that a virus cannot be packaged effectively, which eventually leads to a sharp decline in yield of the virus. Therefore, the compound of the present invention has a good anti-HIV effect.

    Abstract: A method for controlling a maximum number of Random Access (RA) preambles for a network node to handle concurrently in a first cell in a wireless communications network. A runtime parameter associated with the network node restricts the network node to handle at most a first maximum number of RA preambles concurrently. The network node monitors load characteristics associated with the first cell. When the load characteristics fulfil a triggering condition, the network node selects a second maximum number of RA preambles to be handled concurrently. The second maximum number is selected such that a probability value fulfils a threshold. The probability value is associated with a probability that RA preambles that are to be concurrently transmitted in the first cell will exceed the second maximum number of RA preambles. The runtime is adjusted to restrict the network node to handle at most the second maximum number of RA preambles concurrently.

The single feed stalk can have two feed lines configured to feed radio frequency signals to respective dipole radiators.
