The UE includes: a processor and a wireless transceiver coupled to the processor, wherein the processor is configured to: receive, with the wireless transceiver, a uplink (UL) grant scheduling at least one Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) transmission occupying a first set of resource blocks (RBs) consisting of a first number of RBs; determine whether there is at least one RB of the first set of RBs belongs to a second set of RBs; select at least one power-control parameter set from at least two power-control parameter sets for each of the at least one PUSCH transmission based on the determination; and calculate one or more transmission powers for each of the at least one PUSCH transmission based on the at least one selected power-control parameter set.

In aspects, a first set of data relating to the reading time of breast images may be collected from one or more data sources, such as image acquisition workstations, image review workstations, and healthcare professional profile data. The first set of data may be used to train a predictive model to predict/estimate an expected reading time and/or an expected reading complexity for various breast images. Subsequently, a second set of data comprising at least one breast image may be provided as input to the trained predictive model. The trained predictive model may output an estimated reading time and/or reading complexity for the breast image. The output of the trained predictive model may be used to prioritize mammographic studies or optimize the utilization of available time for radiologists.

    Abstract: Methods and devices for controlling ammonia escape and soluble particulate matter formation in an ammonia-based carbon capture process are provided. After the process gas containing sulfur oxides and carbon dioxide may be treated by ammonia-based desulfurization and carbon capture, free ammonia contained in the tail gas may be removed by scrubbing the tail gas with sulfuric acid-containing solution and aqueous solution. The sulfuric acid reacts with ammonia to form ammonium sulfate, and the ammonium sulfate solution may be sent to an ammonia-based desulfurization system, where it may be crystallized together with the desulfurization byproduct ammonium sulfate to produce solid ammonium sulfate. By treating the ammonium sulfate solution in a membrane separation device, solution gradient control and system water balance may be achieved. The ammonia in the tail gas may be effectively removed, while the soluble particulate matter in the tail gas may be reduced.

    Abstract: Examples provide for generating dynamic minimum presentation (MP) values for optimizing fresh item production while reducing system resource usage. An MP engine calculates a monetary level impact of overproduction and underproduction of a fresh item using production-related data, including a shelf life of the fresh item and cost of production. The calculated monetary level impact includes predicted monetary loss from lost sales due to an item going out-of-stock and/or monetary loss from unsold instances of the fresh item where too many instances of the fresh item are prepared. The dynamic MP value is generated based on dynamic data, the item attribute data, and the predicted monetary loss. The dynamic MP value is used to create a production plan recommendation customized at a store-item level for a selected date, thereby enabling optimization of safety stock while minimizing system resource usage consumed in generating MP predictions for fresh items.
