Abstract: A system and method can support service management in a transactional middleware machine environment. A transactional service provider can dispatch at least one service using a plurality of service entries with different service versions, and determine whether a service version associated with a service entry matches a requested service version associated with a service request received from a service requester. Then, transactional service provider can allow the service requester to access the service entry that matches the requested service version associated with the service request.

Abstract: A method for notifying a friend includes configuring a friend notifying input box in a text editing interface; initiating a friend association based on a keyword input by a user and a friend list of the user, according to the keyword input in the friend notifying input box by the user; determining at least one friend to be selected from the friend list of the user according to the keyword; determining at least one friend selected by the user from the at least one friend as at least one target friend; sending a friend notification to the at least one target friend after the user finishes editing a text and posts the text. An apparatus for notifying a friend is provided.

Abstract: An electro-optic device includes a first electrode, a second electrode spaced apart from the first electrode, and an active layer of organic semiconducting material between the first electrode and the second electrode. The active layer includes a quasi-bilayer in which a first plurality molecules from a first layer of active material is interpenetrated by a second plurality of molecules from a second layer of active material formed on the first layer. The first and second pluralities of molecules provide donor-acceptor pairs such that the quasi-bilayer has at least a portion that is a bulk heterojunction active layer.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a webpage browsing method, which comprises: downloading page information of a requested webpage a webpage request from a user is received; analyzing the page information to obtain the page core content of the requested webpage; and typesetting the page core content and displaying the requested webpage that has been typeset. The present disclosure also provides a webpage browsing device and a mobile terminal. With the present disclosure, transmission bandwidth is saved, response to a webpage request is quickened, and meanwhile the webpage browsing effect and browsing experience of a user are improved.

Abstract: A neurostimulation system and method of operating an implantable neurostimulation device configured for outputting electrical stimulation energy to at least one electrode in accordance with a set of stimulation parameters. The implantable neurostimulation device may be switched from a normal operating mode to a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) operating mode. Electrical parameter measurements may be repeatedly acquired at each of the electrode(s) in response to the placement of the implantable stimulation system in the MRI mode. A corrective action may be performed based on at least one of the repeatedly acquired electrical parameter measurements.

Abstract: An electrical card connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of the contacts received in the insulative housing and a metal shell covering the insulative housing. The insulative housing has a receiving cavity receiving a first and a second electrical cards. The contacts include a plurality of first contacts connecting with the first electrical card and a plurality of second contacts combining with the first contacts to contact with the second electrical card. The metal shell has at least one elastic arm extending into the receiving cavity and contacting with a pad of the second electrical card but not contacting with a pad of the first electrical card to instead of a grounding contact of an electrical connector of prior art. It would reduces the number of the contacts to make the structure of the contact easy.

Abstract: Apparatus for controlling the operation of fractionation columns to avoid column flooding is described. The apparatus uses mass flow meters to measure the mass flow rates of the receiver vapor, and the stripper hydrocarbon liquid stream or the stripper reflux and the stripper net overhead liquid. The water from the receiver can be measured with either a volumetric flow meter or a mass flow meter. The apparatus also includes at least one computer in communication with a molecular weight analyzer or specific gravity analyzer; an overhead vapor line pressure gauge; an overhead vapor line temperature gauge; a hydrocarbon liquid outlet line temperature gauge; the stripper hydrocarbon stream mass flow meter, or the stripper reflux hydrocarbon liquid mass flow meter and the stripper net overhead hydrocarbon liquid mass flow meter; the vapor mass flow meter; and the water flow meter.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for bootstrapping a gateway in a device management system, where the method includes: acquiring, from a terminal device by a gateway, server information saved by the terminal device; determining, by the gateway, a target server according to the acquired server information, and initiating a bootstrap request; and performing, by the gateway, a bootstrap according to bootstrap information received from the target server. The present invention enables the gateway to accomplish a bootstrap process in a use process.

Abstract: Methods and devices for reducing traffic over a wireless link through the compression or suppression of high layer packets carrying predictable background data prior to transportation over a wireless link. The methods include intercepting application layer protocol packets carrying the predictable background data. In embodiments where the background data is periodic in nature, the high layer packets may be compressed into low-layer signaling indicators for communication over a low-layer control channel (e.g., an on off keying (OOK) channel). Alternatively, the high layer packets may be suppressed entirely (not transported over the wireless link) when a receiver side daemon is configured to autonomously replicate the periodic background nature according to a projected interval. In other embodiments, compression techniques may be used to reduce overhead attributable to non-periodic background data that is predictable in context.

Abstract: Engineered strains of the oleaginous yeast Yarrowia lipolytica capable of producing greater than 25% eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA, an ?-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid) in the total oil fraction are described. These strains comprise various chimeric genes expressing heterologous desaturases, elongases and acyltransferases and optionally comprise various native desaturase and acyltransferase knockouts to enable synthesis and high accumulation of EPA. Production host cells are claimed, as are methods for producing EPA within said host cells.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a caster device comprising a column, a wheel module and a directional mechanism. The wheel module is pivoted on the column. The directional mechanism includes a directional component movably disposed inside the wheel module and detachably engaged with the column. A moving direction of the directional component is intersected with a pivoting axis of the wheel module. Because the moving direction of the directional component of the present invention is intersected with the pivoting axis of the wheel module, the column is locked well, so as to result in a better orientation effect by using the directional mechanism. The directional component is movably disposed inside the wheel module, so that the directional component is intersected with the pivoting axis of the wheel module rapidly, so as to increase an operating efficiency for orientation.

Abstract: Compositions and methods for controlling pests are provided. The methods involve transforming organisms with a nucleic acid sequence encoding an insecticidal protein. In particular, the nucleic acid sequences are useful for preparing plants and microorganisms that possess insecticidal activity. Thus, transformed bacteria, plants, plant cells, plant tissues and seeds are provided. Compositions are insecticidal nucleic acids and proteins of bacterial species. The sequences find use in the construction of expression vectors for subsequent transformation into organisms of interest including plants, as probes for the isolation of other homologous (or partially homologous) genes. The pesticidal proteins find use in controlling, inhibiting growth or killing Lepidopteran, Coleopteran, Dipteran, fungal, Hemipteran and nematode pest populations and for producing compositions with insecticidal activity.
