Patent number: 10291496Abstract: A device may determine a set of network traffic monitoring parameters associated with identifying a packet for capture. The set of network traffic monitoring parameters may identify a particular protocol layer at which to perform packet capture. The device may configure packet capture and protocol layer state determination based on the set of network traffic monitoring parameters. The device may perform packet capture of the packet at a time when the packet is received at a protocol stack associated with the particular protocol layer based on configuring packet capture and protocol layer state determination. The device may determine a protocol layer state at the time when the packet is received at the protocol stack based on configuring packet capture and protocol layer state determination. The device may provide information identifying the packet and/or the protocol layer state.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2015Date of Patent: May 14, 2019Assignee: Juniper Networks, Inc.Inventors: Ananda Kumar M. Publication number: 20180136962Abstract: A “Master-Virtual Machine (VM) framework” is provided that contains a Master-VM, which is a custom built VM for learning about a specified technology, service or product, and an optional host server device that is a custom built portable physical server. The Master-VM framework enables a user to use a single virtual machine (“Master-VM”) from an online source to set up a hands-on lab for learning about a specified application. For example, the user can use the Master-VM to set up a hands-on lab to learn about Hadoop technology. The hands-on lab can include a collection of VMs associated with Hadoop technology framework and various training materials such as documentations, training videos, lab exercises associated with Hadoop technology. The Master-VM can deploy the collection of VMs associated and allow the user to access, explore, evaluate or configure the Hadoop technology framework using the multiple VMs and the training materials.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 11, 2017Publication date: May 17, 2018Inventor: ANANDA KUMAR KAMMAMPATI

Patent number: 9942319Abstract: A technique is described providing offline support to business applications. Offline support allows a business application running on a portable electronic device without connectivity to a backend server to operate as though the business application has access to a backend server. The technique receives a sync request for content from the portable electronic device. A sync task is generated from the sync requests and processed to generate a package that contains the desired content. Once the package is generated, the package is stored in a package repository and a download notification is transmitted to the portable electronic device to notify the user that the package is ready. The package can in turn be delivered to the portable electronic device when a download request is received from the portable electronic device.Type: GrantFiled: April 9, 2014Date of Patent: April 10, 2018Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Paul Xi, Ming Zhu, Xiaojun Feng, Mohamed Elzankaly, Marco Eidinger, Ananda Kumar Gajula, Mario Linge, Yang-cheng Fan, Oscar Marquez, Jianxun Zhou

Publication number: 20170193563Abstract: Ad segments on a Web page are filled with ads that are served by a service provider operating between a user computer and publisher on one end and multiple ad serving entities on the other. The service provider implements a bidding process for the ad segment. The winning ad serving entity (DSP, ATD, advertiser, etc.) has its ad delivered to the user browser by the service provider where it is displayed in the Web page. The floor e-CPM for the ad segment is determined by the publisher using data related to the user (demographic, geographic, socio-economic, etc.), information on the ad segment (e.g., location on page), and relationships the publisher (e.g., a DSP having a relationship with the publisher may be offered a lower e-CPM). The service provider provides tools and highly granular information for the publisher in order to create an appropriate floor e-CPM for the ad segment.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 23, 2017Publication date: July 6, 2017Inventors: Ananda KUMAR, Anand DAS, Rajeev GOEL, Amar GOEL, Mukul KUMAR

Publication number: 20160085600Abstract: A technique is described providing offline support to business applications. Offline support allows a business application running on a portable electronic device without connectivity to a backend server to operate as though the business application has access to a backend server. The technique receives a client request to operate the application in an offline mode. The technique then retrieves a business object to be utilized in the offline mode and an event trigger for interacting with the business object. The native programming language is then determined and then an event handler written in a native language of the client device and that is associated with the event trigger is retrieved. The event trigger is then modified to point to the event handler. The business object, event trigger, and event handler are then packaged together.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 23, 2014Publication date: March 24, 2016Inventors: Mario Linge, Ananda Kumar Gajula, Jianxun Zhou, Oscar Marquez, Xiaojun Feng, Yang-cheng Fan, Ming Zhu, Paul Xi, Marco Eidinger, Mohamed Elzankaly

Patent number: 8004281Abstract: Featured is a device for NMR or MRI signals from excited nuclei as well as related apparatus, systems and methods. The device includes a strip array antenna including one or more conductor and N reactive tuning components, where N is an integer ?1 at least one of the N reactive components is electrically coupled to each of the one or more conductors as well as to ground/virtual ground. The apparent electrical length of the conductors is tuned with the reactive tuning components so it is equal to be about n?/4, where n is an integer ?1 and ? is the wavelength of the signal to be detected. The length of the strip also is such as to be substantially in the approximate range of 1.3 times the depth of interest. The strip conductors are also combined with loop coils to form quadrature detectors.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 2010Date of Patent: August 23, 2011Assignee: The Johns Hopkins UniversityInventors: Paul A. Publication number: 20110056532Abstract: A method for fabricating a photovoltaic (PV) cell panel wherein each of a plurality of silicon donor wafers has a separation layer formed on its upper surface, e.g., porous anodically etched silicon. On each donor wafer, a PV cell is then partially completed including at least part of inter-cell interconnect, after which plural donor wafers are laminated to a backside substrate or frontside. All of the donor wafers are then separated from the partially completed PV cells in an exfoliation process, followed by simultaneous completion of the remaining PV cell structures on PV cells. Finally, a second lamination to a frontside glass or a backside panel completes the PV cell panel. The separated donor wafers may be reused in forming other PV cells. Use of epitaxial deposition to form the layers of the PV cells enables improved dopant distributions and sharper junction profiles for improved PV cell efficiency.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 9, 2009Publication date: March 10, 2011Applicant: CRYSTAL SOLAR, INC.Inventors: Tirunelveli S.
