The UE may detect, based on the first BFD RS, a beam failure in at least the first CC and send, to the base station, a BFRQ. The BFRQ may include a candidate beam selected based on at least the first CBD RS and may be sent via a PRACH or MAC CE. The UE may receive, from the base station, a BFR response and apply the candidate beam to the first CC and at least one additional CC of the CCG.
