  • Publication number: 20010054828
Abstract: Arrangement for rapid securing of an apparatus in an installation opening in a central console or the like of a motor vehicle The invention relates to an arrangement (10) for rapid securing of an apparatus (12) such as, for example, a car radio or a navigation device, in an installation opening (14) in a motor vehicle. The invention proposes providing the apparatus (12) with laterally projecting brackets (22), over which slide members (30) arranged at the sides of the apparatus (12) engage in a locking position. In a mounting position, the slide members (30) release the brackets (22) so that the apparatus (12) can be pulled out of the installation opening (14) and inserted therein.

  • Publication number: 20010010124
Abstract: An implement is provided and has a drive motor secured to one end of a carrying tube and connected via a drive shaft in the tube with the other end of the tube. A first handle is disposed on the tube in the vicinity of the drive motor and is spaced from a second handle. To support the forearm of an operator, a supporting device is provided that extends in the longitudinal direction of the carrying tube in the direction toward the drive motor. The longitudinal axis of the supporting device forms an angle of less than 90° with the carrying tube and is open toward the drive motor.

  • Patent number: 5650909
Abstract: This invention relates to a method and apparatus for recognizing the impact time of a solenoid valve armature during de-energizing. In order to obtain a detectable impact signal of the armature, a measuring current is provided in the magnet coil during the armature's downward movement to generate a magnetic measuring field. When this magnetic measuring field is changed due to the armature movement, an induction voltage is generated, which is monitored to detect the time of impact of the armature.

  • Patent number: 5443055
Abstract: An ignition system for internal combustion engines with a control unit for triggering at least one ignition final stage and means for suppressing a switch-on spark. A first embodiment of an ignition system in accordance with the present invention includes a voltage-controlled switch coupled to each output of the control unit for coupling the respective output to ground until the supply voltage ramps up to a value required for the operation of the control unit. A second embodiment of an ignition system in accordance with the present invention includes a voltage-controlled switch which is coupled to all outputs of the control unit, and which switches all outputs to ground until the supply voltage ramps up to a value required for the operation of the control unit.

  • Patent number: 4431383
Abstract: A motor-driven compressor particularly for a refrigerator has a cylinder-and-piston unit whose piston is driven from a shaft of a rotor of an electric motor, two sound-damping chambers communicating with a cylinder of the cylinder-and-piston unit, and a bearing element mounted on a stator of the electric motor and having a portion forming a main bearing for the shaft of the rotor, a relatively small bridge-like portion overlapping only a part of a winding of the electric motor, and two legs located diametrically opposite one another and mounted on the stator of the electric motor. The sound-damping chambers may be of one piece with a cover of the cylinder and the latter may be a separate member without the cover.
