The filter housing cover may have at least one foot inner diameter and at least one head inner diameter that extend transversely to an axial direction. The ring filter element may have at least one outer diameter that corresponds to the at least one foot inner diameter. The at least one head inner diameter may be smaller than the at least one foot inner diameter. The ring filter element may form a venting device, which may form at least one venting channel that leads into the head portion.
