  • Publication number: 20200406177
Abstract: A fuel filter assembly includes a filter housing that forms a cavity, and a center stack. The center stack is positioned within the cavity and includes an axial aperture in the top portion, the axial aperture having a circumferential surface, and a fuel filter. The fuel filter includes a filter center support. The fuel filter also includes a sword positioned along a surface of the filter center support, an end cap, a filter element attached to an undersurface of the end cap, a water separator at a filter base of the fuel filter, and a pin attached to the water separator. When the fuel filter is positioned within the filter housing, the sword engages with a slot of a center stack of the fuel filter housing and the pin aligns with a channel of the housing.

Abstract: A filter device may include a filter housing pot and a ring filter element arranged therein. The filter housing pot may have a central drain channel in which an adjustable drain screw having a driver contour is arranged. The ring filter element may include a lower end disk and may interact with the filter housing pot via a counter-driver contour interacting with the driver contour. In a lower position the drain screw may close the drain channel. In an intermediate position the drain screw may free the drain channel and does not interact with the counter-driver contour via the driver contour. In an upper position the drain screw may free the drain channel and interact with the counter-driver contour via the driver contour. The drain screw and the ring filter element may be configured such that a twisting of the drain screw twists the ring filter element.

  • Patent number: 7018297
Abstract: Tripod joints have a joint outer part and a joint inner part which are in driving connection to each other with cylindrical rolling bodies being connected in between and axial displacement and pivotability being ensured. The longitudinal axes of adjacent rolling bodies are arranged at an acute angle to one another. This may result in an improved mechanical behavior of the tripod joint particularly during pivoting. The tripod joints may be suitable for the displaceable and pivotable driving connection of two shaft ends, in particular in conjunction with drive trains or side shafts of motor vehicles.

  • Patent number: 6869226
Abstract: A drive train of a motor vehicle includes a power divider, a side shaft, a constant-velocity joint, an intermediate shaft, and a bearing unit. The intermediate shaft has first and second ends. The first end of the intermediate shaft is rotatably connected to the power divider and is mounted in the power divider with a first bearing, and the second end is located opposite the power divider and is connected to the side shaft via the constant-velocity joint. The bearing unit provides further mounting for the intermediate shaft between the first bearing and the constant-velocity joint. The bearing unit has a play oriented radially with respect to the intermediate shaft, and is able to exert a force oriented radially to the intermediate shaft on the intermediate shaft only after the play has been overcome.
