  • Publication number: 20170267226
Abstract: A method for operating a vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle has at least one torque transmission device which when rotating splashes in a fluid, at least two axles each having at least two wheels and at least one controllable coupling device adapted for selectively coupling or decoupling the torque transmission device with at least one of the wheels. The method includes the steps of: in an operating state in which no torque is requested by a driver of the vehicle, decoupling with the control device the torque transmission device and the at least one wheel when a driving speed of the vehicle is greater than or equal to a predetermined speed threshold value and coupling with the control device the torque transmission device and the at least one wheel for torque transmission when the driving speed is smaller than the predetermined speed threshold value.

  • Patent number: 9737948
Abstract: A method is disclosed for connecting two components by TIG welding, the components consisting of an air-hardening steel alloy and, for example, of the material T23 or T24. A joint is produced between the components that are to be connected, said joint widening, in particular, from an inside toward an outside. First, a root layer is welded in the region of the inside. Subsequently, a fill layer adjoining the root layer is welded, so that the joint is at least 90% filled. Finally, a cover layer is welded onto the fill layer, whereby the welding parameters are prespecified in such a manner that a temperature in an optimizing temperature range is adjusted on the inside in the region of the root layer.

  • Publication number: 20170184011
Abstract: A charge air cooler for an internal combustion engine, includes a charge air inlet and a charge air outlet which are fluidly connected with each other via multiple charge air channels which are arranged parallel to each other and arranged parallel to each other and subjectable to a coolant flow; and at least one flow guide element arranged upstream of the charge air channels, wherein the flow guide element at least in one operating state of the internal combustion engine deflects charge air entering through the charge air inlet the direction of a condensate accumulation volume of the charge air cooler.

  • Publication number: 20170165393
Abstract: A method of removing a liquid from a container (1) for accommodating an ophthalmic contact lens, in particular a soft contact lens, during transporting the container (1) from a liquid bath (13) to a subsequent processing station (14), the method including the steps of: transporting the container (1) from the liquid bath to the subsequent processing station, generating suction (20), and applying the suction (20) to a bottom (11) of the container (1) during the step of transporting the container (1) from the liquid bath to the subsequent processing station, thereby removing the liquid from the container (1).

  • Patent number: 7570983
Abstract: In a method to support the diagnosis and/or therapy of a pathological change of a blood vessel of a patient, in particular in the context of coronary heart disease at a first point in time of a pixel-based or voxel-based first image is acquired with the blood vessel of interest by an imaging method, a determination is made from the first image of a quantity of existing non-calcified plaque and a quantity of existing calcium-rich plaque, a determination of a first indicator value is made from the quantities of the different plaque types that represents a measurement of the quantity and the composition of plaque present in the blood vessel at the first point in time, a comparison of the first indicator value is made with at least one limit value stored in a storage of a data processing device, and dependent on the comparison, a presentation is made on an output unit associated with the electronic data processing device of either a proposal for a measure to be undertaken on the patient, or a proposal for no meas
