    Abstract: A method of manufacturing an artificial turf includes creating fluid polyurethane mass. The creation including reacting first and second polyols with an isocyanate. The first polyol is a polyether polyol and/or a polyester polyol having at least 2 hydroxyl groups per molecule, the second polyol being polybutadien diol. The isocyanate including isocyanate monomers, isocyanate polymers or isocyanate prepolymers or a mixture thereof, the isocyanate monomers, isocyanate polymers and the isocyanate prepolymers having two or more isocyanate groups per molecule. The method further includes incorporating an artificial turf fiber into a carrier such that a first portion of the fiber protrudes to the front side of the carrier and that a second portion of the fiber is located at the back side of the carrier, adding the fluid polyurethane mass on the back side of the carrier, and hardening the fluid polyurethane mass.

    Abstract: A method for monitoring the integrity of a control device is provided. The control device is operated in an on-board electrical system of a vehicle. At least one parallel circuit including a current-limiting unit and an electronic switching unit is arranged in a power path of the control device. A control unit can switch on and off the switching unit. Furthermore, a threshold value for an electrical power path current that flows in the power path when each switching unit is switched off is specified for the control device. A present current value of the power path current flowing in the power path is determined every time that, or regularly while, each switching unit is switched off. When the control unit is supplied with an activation signal, each switching unit is switched on by the control unit only if the respectively present current value is lower than the threshold value.

The engine has an air filter defining a clean chamber for a deflection bowl. The deflection bowl has a first passage opening whereat the air channel passes from the deflection bowl into the clean chamber and a second passage opening whereat the mixture channel passes from the deflection bowl into the clean chamber. The air channel and the mixture channel run mutually separate in the deflection bowl. In the rest position, no second passage opening extends into a region situated lower in terms of the geodetic height than the main fuel opening.

The measurement area is illuminated using an input beam generated remote from the process chamber and transmitted to a first viewing window of the process chamber by a first optical fiber. Portions of the first input beam reflected from the measurement area are transmitted from the first viewing window to an imaging sensor by a second optical fiber. A sequence of images is obtained at the imaging sensor, and a change in reflectance of pixels within each of the images is determined. The etch or deposition process is monitored based on the change in reflectance.
