  • Publication number: 20250206009
Abstract: The present invention relates to a transfer film for applying a barrier layer onto a substrate. The transfer film comprises a carrier film, on which a layer sequence is applied consisting of at least one lacquer layer, made of a barrier lacquer, and an inorganic layer, wherein the adhesive forces between the lacquer layer and the carrier film are lower than the adhesive forces between the lacquer layer and the inorganic layer. The transfer film is characterized in that the barrier lacquer comprises a polymer matrix having a hydrophilic component and a hydrophobic component, of which the hydrophilic component significantly outweighs the hydrophobic component. The transfer film allows a barrier layer having effective barrier properties to be transferred onto target substrates, for which this was previously technically impossible or economically impractical.

  • Publication number: 20250209007
Abstract: In response to instruction decoding circuitry decoding a conditional write instruction, processing circuitry determines whether a predetermined condition is satisfied for a target cache line corresponding to a target address specified by the conditional write instruction. If the predetermined condition is satisfied for the target cache line, a write request is issued to update the target cache line. If the predetermined condition is not satisfied for the target cache line, a failure indication is returned. The processing circuitry selects, depending on whether the sequence of instructions specifies cache-line-retention hint information applicable to the conditional write instruction, whether to prevent a unique coherency state of the target cache line being relinquished by a local cache associated with the processing circuitry for a retention period following processing of the conditional write instruction.

  • Publication number: 20250204788
Abstract: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) can be diagnosed by affixing a plurality of light sources and a plurality of light detectors against the subject's body near a joint, and sequentially transmitting light from each of the plurality of light sources into the subject's body. Signals are acquired from each of the plurality of light detectors. The rise time of the acquired signals that occurs in response to an inflation of a pressure cuff is determined, and an indication of whether the joint is affected by SLE is made based on the determined rise time. In some embodiments, a plateau time of the acquired signals is also acquired, and the indication of whether the joint is affected by SLE is made based on the determined rise time and the determined plateau time.

  • Publication number: 20250209055
Abstract: A solution is proposed for storing tamper-evident data in data structures each containing a persistent sequence of data blocks. A certification computing system (115) stores (408,425) current digests of current versions of the data structures. Storage computing systems (105) submit (418-421) appending requests to the certification computing system (115), each comprising an indication of a new digest of a new version of a data structure with a new data block appended thereto and a consistency proof of the new version with respect to the current version of the data structure. The certification computing system (115) generates (423-428) corresponding appending receipts in response to a positive result of a verification of the appending requests. Moreover, software programs (340-355;305-335) and software program products for execution on the certification computing system (115) and on each storage computing system (105), respectively, are also proposed.
