  • Publication number: 20250076882
Abstract: A method for remotely controlling the movement of a vehicle by means of a hand-held device is described. The method includes the following steps: activating a button by pressing and holding the button by a user; setting a tilt angle of the device by the user starting from an initial tilt angle when activating the button; receiving a signal representing the current tilt angle of the device; converting the received signal into a virtual pedal position, which corresponds to the position of a physical pedal corresponding to the virtual pedal; controlling the movement of the vehicle according to the virtual pedal position; and stopping the vehicle if pressing and holding the button is ended.

  • Publication number: 20250077669
Abstract: Systems and methods for forensic resolution of ransomware attacks are provided. The systems and methods define a platform and functionality for addressing ransom based attacks. According to one aspect, the platform and functionality provides a suite of programs and services that enable verification of “ransomed” files to ensure that they can in fact be recovered. If an attack has compromised the integrity of the underlying data so that it cannot be recovered, paying the ransom is an exercise in futility. Additional aspects provide for rapid collection of data that is targeted and specific and that further enables efficient forensic analysis. Many conventional approaches in this space fail to capture requisite detail and/or fail to provide a methodology for handling the volumes of data required to efficiently and effectively track or resolve such attacks. Further aspects provide actionable intelligence that drives result oriented goals for ransomed data and/or compromised systems.

  • Publication number: 20250081178
Abstract: User Equipment-to-User Equipment relaying resource management is performed between communication subscribers, which can each communicate with at least one base station via at least one communication interface for communication. The following steps are carried out on the part of the base station for establishing communication: determining local and thematic information for determining communication subscribers; determining a group of communication subscribers based on the local and thematic information, wherein a local area is defined for local restriction of the communication subscribers, and wherein at least one of a technological aspect and an interest-related aspect is used for thematic restriction on the part of the base station. Granting permission to communicate data from a group of communication subscribers to the at least one base station is established via further communication subscribers by using discovery mechanisms between them.

  • Patent number: 12245382
Abstract: A module includes a protective shield with a three-dimensional (3D) pattern to increase a rate of heat dissipation. As circuit components get smaller in size, more circuit components can fit into a module, thereby increasing heat density in the module. Some of the heat in a module is conducted through an overmold disposed on the circuit components. The heat conducted through the overmold then dissipates through an optional protective shield on an exterior surface of the overmold. A rate of heat dissipation depends on the surface area of the overmold and, if any, the protective shield. In an exemplary aspect, a 3D pattern is formed in the exterior surface of the overmold to increase the surface area to increase a rate of heat dissipation from the module. Improved heat dissipation improves performance and product life of the circuit components in the module.

  • Patent number: 12243112
Abstract: A crop prediction system performs various machine learning operations to predict crop production and to identify a set of farming operations that, if performed, optimize crop production. The crop prediction system uses crop prediction models trained using various machine learning operations based on geographic and agronomic information. Responsive to receiving a request from a grower, the crop prediction system can access information representation of a portion of land corresponding to the request, such as the location of the land and corresponding weather conditions and soil composition. The crop prediction system applies one or more crop prediction models to the access information to predict a crop production and identify an optimized set of farming operations for the grower to perform.

  • Patent number: 12241566
Abstract: An adapter for wireless data transmission, in particular according to the “Bluetooth Low Energy” standard, is proposed. The adapter has a cylindrical housing whose radius is at least twice its height. The adapter includes a wireless transceiver and a processor arranged in the cylindrical housing and connected to the wireless transceiver, and a data interface connected to the processor. The processor is arranged to drive the transceiver and the data interface and can therewith transmit data wirelessly. Because the adapter for wireless data transmission has a flat design, it can be retrofitted in valve positioners. This makes it possible to retrofit commonly used valve positioners that until now do not have an option for wireless transmission of their status data with this adapter. As a result, these commonly used valve positioners also achieve the capability of wireless transmission of their status data.
