  • Publication number: 20250129234
Abstract: Paint compositions and paint coatings for radiative cooling, as well as related methods of manufacturing and use of such paint compositions. A composition for paint to be used in radiative cooling, in a wet coating phase, includes nanoplatelets of hexagonal boron nitride, an acrylic binder, and a solvent. A coating of a dried paint on a surface to be cooled by radiative cooling includes nanoplatelets of hexagonal boron nitride and an acrylic binder. A method of manufacturing the composition for paint in the wet paint phase includes forming a first mixture by adding the nanoplatelets of hexagonal boron nitride to the solvent, uniformly distributing the nanoplatelets in the first mixture, and forming a second mixture by adding the acrylic binder to the first mixture.

  • Publication number: 20250129919
Abstract: A lamp base 60 supports an upright stem in the base-contacting end of which two headed machine screw are received in a threaded bore. To assemble base 60 to the stem, each screw and head pass axially through a region 61 of an opening 68B, 70B in base 60, each region 61 having a bore diameter enlarged to pass the head. The fixing shanks are then transferred laterally to an adjacent countersunk region 63 of each opening 68B, 70B by relative displacement between the stem and base 60 to capture the fixing heads, preventing axial removal of the fixings from the openings 68B, 70B by cooperation of the fixings' male countersinks with the base's female countersinks 63. The screws are then tightened to secure together the stem and base. Disassembly is accomplished by reversing the foregoing process. The structure described enables supply of the knocked-down lamp as a flat pack with captured fixing(s).

  • Patent number: 12280817
Abstract: A sensing system for hand or body part positioning detection on an object, particularly on a rim of a steering wheel, includes at least one electrically conducting signal line that is arrangeable on a surface of the object with a priori knowledge about a relation between a distance of any portion of the at least one signal line from a reference point and information on a position on the object, a signal voltage source for providing a time-dependent measurement signal to be traveling along the signal line, and a control and evaluation unit. From a received reflected measurement signal, the control and evaluation unit determines a position or positions on the object of a portion or portions of the signal line at least partially reflecting the measurement signal. Based on the determined position or positions, a hand or body part positioning on the object is determined.

  • Patent number: 12283862
Abstract: To control movement of a transport unit of a linear motor, a quality functional J(SG) with quality terms JTk(SG) is used as a function of manipulated variables (SG) of active drive coils. The quality functional J(SG) controlling movement of the transport unit along the stator is optimized with regard to the manipulated variable (SG) to determine optimal manipulated variables (SGopt) for the relevant time step of the control of movement, active drive coils are energized according to the determined optimal manipulated variables (SGopt), and at least two movement phases are provided during the movement of the transport unit along the stator. In the at least two novement phases, different quality functionals J(SG) are used for determining the optimal manipulated variables (SGopt), the different quality functionals J(SG) differing by the number k of the quality terms JTk(SG) used and/or by the quality terms JTk(SG) and/or by the weighting factors kk.

  • Patent number: 12283366
Abstract: Systems and methods for cardiac radioablation treatment planning are disclosed. In some examples, a computing device receives a first signal identifying a first event within a first workspace from a second computing device. The computing device determines a first action to apply to a first image displayed within a second workspace based on the first signal. The computing device generates a second image based on applying the first action to the first image within the second workspace, and displays the second image within the second workspace. In some examples, the first workspace is a radiation oncologist workspace and the second workspace is an electrophysiologist workspace. In some examples, the first workspace is an electrophysiologist oncologist workspace and the second workspace is a radiation oncologist workspace.

  • Patent number: 12282486
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for address matching from a single address string to an address matching score. In an embodiment, an address string is received and parsed into parsed address data. Once an address string is parsed into parsed address data, the parsed address data is standardized by converting the parsed address data into a standard format and replacing abbreviations, colloquial names with formal names. Once an address string has been standardized into a standardized street locale, candidate addresses that are identical to or similar to the standardized street locale are identified and are assigned a score. Each score comprises a probability that the respective candidate address and the standardized street locale represent a same place or location.
