  • Publication number: 20220307557
Abstract: The present invention relates to an elastic junction device for the dynamic connection, in a rolling mill, between the motor side and the head of an adapter or between the adapter and one or more rolling rolls. The junction device comprises a central body which can be connected to an end of said flange so that it can rotate integrally therewith, said device comprising two skids through a connecting pin so that said block rotates integrally with said flange, said skids being mechanically couplable to said adapter to allow the rotation thereof upon the rotation of said flange and vice versa. The junction device comprises at least a first damper element and at least a second damper element housed in the block and which act on opposite parts of the connecting pin so as to absorb the axial tensions which are transmitted along the adapter as a result of the stresses caused by rolling.

  • Publication number: 20220306035
Abstract: A knee airbag having a first wall extending from an upper end and having a first outer surface serving as an impact surface being positioned opposite the knee-shin-area of an occupant to be protected when the airbag is fully deployed, and a second wall extending from a rear end adjacent or identical to the upper end of the first wall and having a second outer surface. The second wall comprises a first section, a second section and a groove section being positioned between the first section and the second section such that the second outer surface shows a groove. In order to make the knee airbag suitable for a vehicle that does not provide sufficient instrument panel surface to support it, the first wall and the first and second sections of the second wall enclose an angle between 20° and 80°, preferably between 30° and 60°.

  • Publication number: 20220305760
Abstract: It is now possible to economically produce, in series production, automotive glazing that has complex small radii feature lines (30). Such feature lines (30) are desirable as they can improve the stiffness of the glazing as well as contribute to the overall aesthetic and differentiation of the vehicle, allowing body lines to blend into and continue in the glazing. However, traditional automotive laminating methods do not lend themselves well to this type of product. Typically, the offset between the mating surfaces of the laminate must be very uniform. Such uniformity is difficult to achieve when producing small radii features. Rather than bending multiple layers with small radii feature lines that can be nested and subsequently laminated using standard plastic automotive interlayers, the invention makes use of a two part method for laminating, a dry lamination process and a wet lamination process, which requires only that the feature lines (30) be present in the outer glass layer (201).

  • Publication number: 20220306389
Abstract: A caster wheel alignment system for selectively re-orienting improperly oriented caster wheels for transport vehicles of a conveyor system, such as a circular sorter. The alignment system includes a main support frame couplable with the conveyor at a drive track of the conveyor. The system includes a horizontal cam for adjusting an orientation of the caster wheel from a leading orientation to a trailing orientation. In some forms, the alignment system may include a bypass system, such as a float frame, supporting the horizontal cam, and a vertical cam. The vertical cam provided to temporarily move the float frame and horizontal cam away from the transport vehicle and/or drive track to permit the vehicle to move through the alignment system. The vertical and horizontal cams coordinate to intercept and correct improperly oriented wheels without significantly impeding the movement of the transport vehicle along the drive track.
