    Abstract: In one embodiment the method includes providing a bidirectionally linked blockchain structure; generating an additional block for expanding the blockchain structure, which includes the data to be stored and is intended to be linked bidirectionally to the last block of the blockchain structure, the last block of the blockchain structure including stored data; and calculating a first block-dependent linking function for bidirectionally linking the last block to the additional block. The calculation of the linking function including calculating a combined block-dependent check value of the last block and of the additional block, using the data stored in the last block and the data to be stored in the additional block; and associating the combined check value with a block-independent, linking process-specific function. The method further includes adding the first block-dependent linking function to the last block and to the additional block.

    Abstract: A manually movable trolley contains a basket for receiving goods and a tube connected to the basket. The tube has a first tube section which is at a distance from the basket and extends substantially parallel to the rear side of the basket, the tube section forming a handlebar for the shopping trolley. Respective second tube sections border on both sides of the first tube section and in the second tube sections the pipe bends towards the shopping trolley. Third tube sections border on each second tube section, and in the third tube sections the tube extends in a straight line. Fourth tube sections border on each third tube section, and in the fourth tube sections the tube bends at least substantially downwards. The second tube sections contain a sleeve that partially surrounds the periphery of the tube, and the sleeve has a separate handle that projects upward from the handlebar.

    Abstract: An apparatus for drilling a directional wellbore is disclosed that in one non-limiting embodiment includes a drive for rotating a drill bit, a deflection device that enables a lower section of the drilling assembly to tilt about a member of the deflection device within a selected plane when the drilling assembly is substantially rotationally stationary to allow drilling of a curved section of the wellbore when the drill bit is rotated by the drive and wherein the tilt is reduced when the drilling assembly is rotated to allow drilling of a straighter section of the wellbore, and a tilt sensor that provides measurements relating to tilt of the lower section. A controller determines a parameter of interest relating to the tilt for controlling drilling of the directional wellbore.

    Abstract: The present inventions in various aspects provide elastic biodegradable polymers. In various embodiments, the polymers are formed by the reaction of a multifunctional alcohol or ether and a difunctional or higher order acid to form a pre-polymer, which is cross-linked to form the elastic biodegradable polymer. In preferred embodiments, the cross-linking is performed by functionalization of one or more OR groups on the pre-polymer backbone with vinyl, followed by photopolymerization to form the elastic biodegradable polymer composition or material. Preferably, acrylate is used to add one or more vinyls to the backbone of the pre-polymer to form an acrylated pre-polymer. In various embodiments, acrylated pre-polymers are co-polymerized with one or more acrylated co-polymers.
