  • Publication number: 20240080372
Abstract: A wireless gateway is provided that is adapted to receive output data from a variety of connected devices such as pumps from a variety of different manufacturers. The gateway connects to each pump associated with an end user using a wired or wireless connection. The gateway receives output data from a pump in a first format that is specific to the type of pump or the manufacturer of the pump. The gateway then converts the output data into a second format based on knowledge about the type or manufacturer of the pump. The gateway then provides output data in the second format to a platform accessible by a service provider and the end user. The output data may be provided through a wired or wireless connection (e.g., cellular connection) between the gateway and a cloud-based platform used by the end user.

  • Patent number: 11914759
Abstract: Examples of augmented reality (AR) environment control advantageously employ multi-factor intention determination and include: performing a multi-factor intention determination for summoning a control object (e.g., a menu, a keyboard, or an input panel) using a set of indications in an AR environment, the set of indications comprising a plurality of indications (e.g., two or more of a palm-facing gesture, an eye gaze, a head gaze, and a finger position simultaneously); and based on at least the set of indications indicating a summoning request by a user, displaying the control object in a position proximate to the user in the AR environment (e.g., docked to a hand of the user). Some examples continue displaying the control object while at least one indication remains, and continue displaying the control object during a timer period if one of the indications is lost.

  • Patent number: 11912512
Abstract: A selectably configurable modular labware transport system including a labware bulk overhead transport system module forming an overhead transport path. The labware bulk overhead transport system module has a labware support, with at least a movable part of the labware support being configured to support labware thereon, and move longitudinally defining the overhead transport path. The labware support has more than one labware holding stations for holding a labware piece, each of the labware holding stations having a different location along the labware support and overhead transport path. The labware bulk overhead transport system module is communicably couplable to another labware bulk overhead transport system module that forms another different overhead transport path, and effects undisrupted transport of the labware throughout the overhead transport path with the labware bulk overhead transport system module both coupled to and uncoupled from the other labware bulk overhead transport system module.

  • Publication number: 20220400320
Abstract: This invention is an apparatus that can be intermittently bottom moored and moved with buoyancy as it uses its sensors to collect data in deep ocean water. In one embodiment of the invention, the apparatus includes one or more floats, buoyancy engines, payload sensors, depth sensors and electronics. The electronics provide the power and, among other things, control the transmission of data from and the reception of information by the apparatus. An anchor is used to moor the apparatus at desired locations. When not moored, the apparatus drifts with the currents at the depth at which the apparatus is then positioned, with the movement being directed by current flow of the water. The movement of the apparatus is guided with knowledge of the currents and tides (it is not random).

  • Publication number: 20220284724
Abstract: Described herein is a computer implemented method. The method includes receiving data for an area of text of a document, the area of text containing a plurality of glyphs. A processing unit groups the glyphs into a plurality of lines based on glyph position information and for each line determines one or more paragraph attributes, wherein a difference in the one or more paragraph attributes between different lines indicates a likelihood that the different lines are in different paragraphs. Responsive to determining the one or more paragraph attributes, the plurality of lines are grouped into one or more paragraphs and an editable document is generated that contains text in paragraphs that corresponds to the one or more paragraphs.
