Patent number: 12010242Abstract: To protect the integrity of data stored in a protected area of memory, data in the protected area of memory is retrieved in data blocks and an authentication code is associated with a memory granule contiguously comprising a first data block and a second data block. Calculation of the authentication code comprises a cryptographic calculation based on a first hash value determined from the first data block and a second hash value determined from the second data block. A hash value cache is provided to store hash values determined from data blocks retrieved from the protected area of the memory. When the first data block and its associated authentication code are retrieved from memory, a lookup for the second hash value in the hash value cache is performed, and a verification authentication code is calculated for the memory granule to which that data block belongs. The integrity of the first data block is contingent on the verification authentication code matching the retrieved authentication code.Type: GrantFiled: July 10, 2020Date of Patent: June 11, 2024Assignee: Arm LimitedInventors: Roberto Avanzi, Andreas Lars Sandberg, Michael Andrew Campbell, Matthias Lothar Boettcher, Prakash S. Patent number: 11897211Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and apparatus for automatic extrudate loading and alignment. An extrudate handling system includes a head end assembly and an imaging device (which may be part of the head end assembly). The imaging device is configured to image an end face of an extrudate, and generate, during translation of the extrudate, an imaging output signal indicative of a rotational position of the end face of the extrudate. The head end assembly includes a rotational effector to rotate the extrudate during translation thereof and a fixed effector rotationally fixed relative to a track. The extrudate handling system is able to determine the rotational position of the web angle of the extrudate and precisely adjust the rotational position while linearly translating the extrudate along the track. The extrudate handling system provides greater accuracy, reduced costs, and improved results.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 2020Date of Patent: February 13, 2024Assignee: Corning IncorporatedInventors: Colby William Audinwood, Brian Stephen Banks, Stephen Andrew Campbell, John Christian Duroe, Dustin Andrew Jochum, Anthony Nicholas Rodbourn, Gary Yaw

Publication number: 20230401512Abstract: Mitigation of temporal generalization losses a target machine learning model is disclosed. Mitigation can be based on identifying, removing, modifying, transforming, etc., features, explanatory variables, models, etc., that can have an unstable relationship with a target outcome over time. Implementation of a more stable representation can be initiated. Temporal stability measures (TSMs) for one or more model feature(s) can be determined based on one or more variable performance metrics (VPMs). A group of one or more VPMs can be selected based on features of a model in either a development or production environment. Model feature modification can be recommended based on a TSM, which can prune a feature, transform a feature, add a feature, etc. Temporal stability information can be presented, e.g., via a dashboard-type user interface. Models can be updated based on mutations of a model comprising a feature modification(s), including competitive champion/challenger model updating.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 13, 2022Publication date: December 14, 2023Inventors: Brandon Bolong Lee, Andrew Campbell, Ana Armenta, Prince Paulraj
