  • Patent number: 11946659
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods and structures deploy a heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) energy optimization program. A standard operating control platform (OCP) is deployed in an energy optimization control engine (EOCE) computing system communicatively coupled to a plurality of HVAC components via a building automation system (BAS). An energy optimization portal (EOP), which receives from the EOCE computing system a first data set identifying the plurality of HVAC components, a second data set including operational control parameters for each of the plurality of HVAC components, and a third data set including measured operations data associated with each of the plurality of HVAC components. The EOP generates an energy optimized operating control platform based on the first, second, and third data sets, which is automatically communicated from the EOP to the EOCE computing system.

  • Patent number: 11947589
Abstract: Systems and methods directed to returning personalized image-based search results are described. In examples, a query including an image may be received, and a personalized item embedding may be generated based on the image and user profile information associated with a user. Further, a plurality of candidate images may be obtained based on the personalized item embedding. The candidate images may then be ranked according to a predicted level of user engagement for a user, and then diversified to ensure visual diversity among the ranked images. A portion of the diversified images may then be returned in response to an image-based search.

  • Patent number: 11934432
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating a dynamic label for a real-time communication session. An ongoing communication session is monitored to identify a content characteristic of the communication session. A size of a sliding window is determined based on the content characteristic, where the size of the sliding window defines a segment of the communication session to include in the most recent subset of communications. The most recent subset of communications is analyzed to identify relevant words based on one or more relevancy criteria. A dynamic label associated with the communication session is generated, where the dynamic label includes at least a selected one of the relevant words.

  • Patent number: 11935634
Abstract: A system for predicting and summarizing medical events from electronic health records includes a computer memory storing aggregated electronic health records from a multitude of patients of diverse age, health conditions, and demographics including medications, laboratory values, diagnoses, vital signs, and medical notes. The aggregated electronic health records are converted into a single standardized data structure format and ordered arrangement per patient, e.g., into a chronological order. A computer (or computer system) executes one or more deep learning models trained on the aggregated health records to predict one or more future clinical events and summarize pertinent past medical events related to the predicted events on an input electronic health record of a patient having the standardized data structure format and ordered into a chronological order.

  • Publication number: 20240076295
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to bifunctional compounds, which find utility as modulators of SMARCA2 or BRM (target protein). In particular, the present disclosure is directed to bifunctional compounds, which contain on one end a ligand that binds to the Von Hippel-Lindau E3 ubiquitin ligase, and on the other end a moiety which binds the target protein, such that the target protein is placed in proximity to the ubiquitin ligase to effect degradation (and inhibition) of target protein. The present disclosure exhibits a broad range of pharmacological activities associated with degradation/inhibition of target protein. Diseases or disorders that result from aggregation or accumulation of the target protein are treated or prevented with compounds and compositions of the present disclosure.

  • Patent number: 11925126
Abstract: Technologies for tuning a resistance of tunnel junctions such as Josephson junctions are disclosed. In the illustrative embodiment, a Josephson junction is heated to 85 Celsius, and an electric field is applied to the Josephson junction. The heat and the electric field cause the resistance of the Josephson junction to increase. Monitoring the Josephson junction during the application of the electric field allows for the resistance of the Josephson junction to be adjusted to a particular value.

  • Patent number: 11922195
Abstract: Some embodiments support embedding of a notebooks software component in a surrounding host application, thereby promoting consistency of notebook user interfaces and user experiences between different kinds of applications. For instance, the notebook access added to an integrated development environment (IDE) may be aesthetically consistent with the notebook access added to a business analytics tool from the same vendor as the IDE. Departures from the aesthetic are still supported, e.g., a notebook access provided in a video gaming environment to teach gamers programming skills may have the same aesthetic as the simulated world of the video game, rather than an IDE aesthetic or an enterprise software aesthetic. Direct integration or proxied integration architectures may be used. Efficiencies may be gained by distinguishing between notebook viewing, editing, and executing operations, and providing more computationally expensive resources only as needed for the notebook access being performed.

  • Publication number: 20240070017
Abstract: Aspects of a storage device including a memory and a controller are provided. The controller may determine to perform garbage collection on a superblock. During the garbage collection process, the controller will typically move the superblock into an erase pool for erasing the superblock. However, aspects of the disclosure are directed to a method of measuring a raw bit error rate (RBER) of the superblock prior to erasure. The measured RBER may be used to estimate a data retention time of the storage device and provide the customer with an early warning notification if a health metric of the storage devices reaches a threshold retention time.

  • Patent number: 11911903
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology generally relate to robotic devices and artificial intelligence. More specifically, some embodiments relate to a robotic device for picking items from a bin and perturbing items in a bin. The robotic device may include one or more picking elements and one or more perturbation elements for disturbing a present arrangement of items in the bin. In an exemplary embodiment, a perturbation element comprises a compressed air valve. In some implementations, the robotic device may also include one or more computer-vision systems. Based on image data from the one or more computer-vision systems, a strategy for picking up items from the bin is determined. When no strategies with high probability of success exist, the robotic device may perturb the contents of the bin to create new available pick-up points.
