  • Publication number: 20070254525
Abstract: This invention pertains to a cord connector that both seals and provides strain relief automatically upon wire insertion. The cord connector comprises a wire passageway through a pliable shell which seals around both the wire inserted through the passageway as well as the knock-out or wall opening into which the connector is secured. A more rigid skeleton supports this shell and is provided with appendages which permit the wire to pass through the passageway but which block or resist any removal of the wire from the passageway. Preferably the shell is over-molded over the skeleton for ease of manufacture.

  • Publication number: 20060125535
Abstract: A system and method for performing phase-locked loop is disclosed. The system includes phase frequency detector circuitry, charge pump circuitry having first current mirror circuitry and second current mirror circuitry, loop filter circuitry, and voltage controlled oscillator circuitry. The phase frequency detector circuitry generates an up signal and a down signal based on the phase difference of an input signal and a feedback signal. The charge pump circuitry includes the first current mirror circuitry and the second mirror circuitry and generates a charge pump output signal based on the up and down signals. The loop filter circuitry generates a filtered control signal based on the charge pump output signal. The voltage controlled oscillator circuitry generates the feedback signal with a repeating waveform based on the filtered control signal.

  • Publication number: 20050061704
Abstract: One or more water-soluble capsules (3) containing a detergent composition in combination with a package (1) containing the one or more water-soluble capsules, characterised in that the package is formed from a material which has a Moisture Vapour Transfer Rate (M.V.T.R) of between 0.25 g/m2/day to 10 g/m2/day at 38° C. and 90% relative humidity. The Moisture Vapour Transfer Rate is between 0.25 g/m2/day to 5 g/m2/day at 38° C. and 90% relative humidity. In a preferred embodiment, the package is self-standing by means of a collapsible base (16) portion which expands from a collapsed position to an expanded position when one or more capsules is/are placed on the base, and is collapsible when empty so as to make the package substantially flat.

  • Patent number: 6804382
Abstract: An interface card includes a housing sized for reception by a host system, for example, a laptop computer. A sensor is movably connected to the housing and has a first position in which the sensor receives a relief object and generates an electronic representation of the relief object, and a second position in which the sensor is inactive. An interface module is coupled to the sensor and configured to provide for communications between the interface card and the host system.

  • Patent number: 6501846
Abstract: A system and method for using a relief object image generator for cursor control, computer access control, and operational parameter control is disclosed. The system includes a relief object image generator, a sensor array, an image processor, and a memory. The relief object image generator generates images of relief objects, such as fingerprints, brought in proximity of the exposed surface of the image generator. The image processor receives the image from the sensor array, processes the image, and compares the resulting descriptive information to stored information corresponding to authorized users. If a match is found, the user is granted access to the computer. The image processor may also process the image to determine image movement or the image's presence or absence. Detected movement is used to generate directional signals while the presence and abserice of the image is used to generate highlight and select signals.
