  • Publication number: 20240127451
Abstract: Described herein are methods and computer systems for classification of CD8 T-cell topology using a patient response-based linear cutoff model. A plurality of histology images of tissue samples in a plurality of patients are received by a computer system. An image analysis of the plurality of histology images is performed to obtain a CD8+ T-cell abundance in the tumor parenchyma and stroma in each of the plurality of histology images. Real inflammation scores and tumor infiltration scores are determined based on a polar coordinate transformation of the CD8+ T-cell abundance in the tumor parenchyma and stroma. Based on the real inflammation scores and tumor infiltration scores, a feature space is generated, and linear boundaries or linear cutoffs between a plurality of classifications in the feature space are identified based on the real inflammation scores, the tumor infiltration scores, and patient response data.

  • Publication number: 20230306762
Abstract: Described herein are methods and computer systems for classification of CD8 T-cell topology using artificial intelligence and machine learning. A plurality of histology images of tissue samples in a plurality of patients are received by a computer system. An image analysis of the plurality of histology images is performed to obtain a CD8+ T-cell abundance in the tumor parenchyma and stroma in each of the plurality of histology images. A machine learning algorithm is then trained using results of the image analysis and the CD8+ T-cell abundance in the tumor parenchyma and stroma. Based on the training, a machine learning feature space comprising a plurality of classifications is generated, and boundaries between the plurality of classifications in the machine learning feature space are identified.

  • Publication number: 20230271930
Abstract: Processes are described for obtaining highly purified tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCa) from Cannabis. Solvent extraction is performed on plant material or extract, followed by removal of impurities using sequential liquid-liquid extractions to purify cannabinoid carboxylic acids therefrom based on chemical properties of carboxylate salts. The product liquor, comprising THCa in solvent, is largely free of impurities, and high in THCa. Further steps can be conducted to obtain a highly enriched solution using chromatography and subsequent crystallization of THCa in 99% purity. THCa can be used as starting material for other products that include THC by decarboxylation. Optionally, triglyceride extraction of a washed aqueous phase can be used to prepare a THCa composition without chromatographic purification. A pre-processing aqueous extraction with pH manipulations may be used to remove biomass prior to solvent extraction, while maintaining THCa and optionally other cannabinoid acids.

  • Publication number: 20230109316
Abstract: This document describes systems and techniques directed at under-display sensor lamination. In aspects, an electronic device having a mechanical frame designed with a bucket architecture includes an under-display sensor attached to one or more layers of a display panel stack. Such an implementation enables attachment of the under-display sensor to a protective layer, as opposed to attachment of the sensor directly to a display panel, minimizing the risk of delamination, as well as reducing damage to the display panel if delamination occurs and rework is attempted. Further, such an implementation removes the need for a mid-frame architecture, resulting in a thinner and lighter electronic device.

  • Patent number: 11472365
Abstract: An inflatable airbag system is disclosed, the inflatable airbag system configured with a wrapper to facilitate an inflating airbag cushion to exit a housing of the inflatable airbag system. The inflatable airbag system may be mounted forward of an occupant of a vehicle, the inflatable airbag system disposed behind one or more panel doors, the panel doors each equipped with a hinge to facilitate opening of the panel doors without the panel doors detaching. The wrapper is configured to separate so as to form a ramp to cover each hinge of each panel door whereby the inflating airbag cushion is precluded from engaging the hinge, wherein such engagement may otherwise adversely alter an inflation rate or trajectory of the inflating airbag cushion.
