  • Patent number: 9542244
Abstract: A primitives library facilitates compiling, linking, and execution of programs that use specialized processors to perform primitive tasks. Data associated with a primitive may be accessed by a specialized-processor-based storage node manager independently of any other processing device.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 22, 2015
Date of Patent: January 10, 2017
    Assignee: Ryft Systems, Inc.

  • Patent number: 9417894
Abstract: A portable housing includes a sensing device, a set of memory modules, and a reconfigurable circuit module. The reconfigurable circuit module can be configured to receive sensed data associated with a sensing device. In response to receiving the sensed data, the reconfigurable circuit module can be configured to transition from a first configuration to a second configuration. While in the second configuration, the reconfigurable circuit module can be configured to retrieve data from at least one memory module from the set of memory modules. The reconfigurable circuit module can be configured to compare the retrieved data to the sensed data, and as a result, produce matched data. The reconfigurable circuit module can be configured to define and/or send a search result based on the matched data.

  • Patent number: 9411613
Abstract: Specialized processors use configurable interconnection fabrics to manage execution of subtasks, that together define a task, using one or more specialized processors.

  • Patent number: 8838873
Abstract: In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a set of memory modules configured to store data and a reprogrammable circuit module operatively coupled to the set of memory modules. The reprogrammable circuit module is configured to receive, from a host device, information associated with a search request. The reprogrammable circuit module is configured to change from a first configuration to a second configuration in response to receiving the information. The reprogrammable circuit module is configured to retrieve at least a portion of the data stored at the set of memory modules associated with the second configuration. The reprogrammable circuit module is configured to generate a search result based on the portion of the data, and transmit the search result to the host device.

  • Publication number: 20120324143
Abstract: In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a set of memory modules, a reprogrammable circuit module and a set of data channels. Each memory module is associated with an address translation table configured to store a set of address pairs each including a physical memory address and a logical memory address. The reprogrammable circuit module is configured to retrieve a first physical memory address associated with a first logical memory address and a second physical memory address associated with a second logical memory address. Each data channel couples the reprogrammable circuit module to at least one memory module. The reprogrammable circuit module is configured to send a first and a second query to the first and the second memory module, via a first data channel based on the first physical memory address or a second data channel based on the second physical memory address, respectively.
