  • Publication number: 20210286840
Abstract: A social media platform provides a map-based graphical user interface (GUI) with multiple geographically anchored icons that are selectable to trigger playback of respective galleries of ephemeral messages. Each of the plurality of location-based ephemeral galleries comprises media content contributed by multiple different users. The ephemeral galleries are compiled based on geo-tag data associated with respective ephemeral messages submitted by multiple users to be publicly viewable via the map-based GUI.

  • Publication number: 20210279728
Abstract: Expedited transaction processing using a database of integrated in-store and online transactions is described. First transaction information associated with a first transaction conducted in a physical store of a merchant and second transaction information associated with a second transaction conducted via an online store of the merchant can be received. The first transaction can be processed based at least partly on the first transaction information and a record of the first transaction can be stored in the database. Based at least partly on the record, the second transaction can be processed using at least a portion of the second transaction information by (i) sending, to a card authorization service, the second payment information and (ii) generating an indication that the first payment information was authorized for the first transaction at the physical store. A computing device of the online store can be notified that the second transaction is allowed.

  • Publication number: 20210243548
Abstract: Systems, devices, media, and methods are presented for selective location-based identity communication. The systems and methods identify a current location of a mobile computing device and detect a selection of a user interface element associated with the current location. The systems and methods cause presentation of a set of display elements corresponding to the current location and detect selection of a display element of the set of display elements. • Publication number: 20210200767
Abstract: Technologies described reduce the amount of time between requesting content and receiving the requested content. In some embodiments, a client provides a search query. A search result page is generated and, prior to returning the search result page to the client, some or all of the search results are asynchronously pre-fetched and cached. The search query can include custom parameters that are also included in the pre-fetch requests. Web addresses in the search results page can be modified to indicate whether a prefetch operation was initiated. Once a user activates one of the search results, the responding web server uses the cached data while generating a response.

  • Patent number: 11042883
Abstract: Techniques for integrated online and offline sales management are described. A merchant application executing on a merchant device can present options for selling an item of a merchant. The options can include (i) a first option wherein an amount for the item is payable using a payment object at a payment object reader coupled to the merchant device and (ii) a second option wherein the amount for the item is payable using a customer application. An input associated with the second option can be received via the merchant application and, responsive to the input, a payment transaction link can be generated. The payment transaction link can be presented for sharing by the merchant with at least one customer, wherein the payment transaction link enables the at least one customer to pay the amount for the item using the customer application.

  • Patent number: 10891624
Abstract: Method, systems, and apparatus for integrated online and offline sales management. A system manages both offline and online transactions and inventory in an integrated environment. An offline transaction is a sale at a point of sale (POS) system, e.g., at a typical “brick and mortar shop” physical store. An online transaction is a sale using an online store, e.g., an online shopping cart and checkout system accessed by a web browser or other application. An online store can be converted to offline store, and vice versa. An inventory management system can receive an input from a merchant device of merchant designating an item carried by the merchant as an item to be sold at the physical store, at the online store, or both. The inventory management system can modify a record of the item to respond to the input.

In some implementations, a power management integrated circuit includes multiple voltage regulators, an analog multiplexer, an analog to digital converter, power determination circuitry, and control circuitry. The analog multiplexer has multiple inputs that are each configured to receive an analog input signal indicative of an amount of electrical current output by a different one of the multiple voltage regulators. The analog-to-digital converter is configured to receive analog output signals from of the analog multiplexer and to provide a digital output. The power determination circuitry configured to determine a power output level for each of the multiple voltage regulators based on respective digital outputs of the analog-to-digital converter. The control circuitry is configured to control the analog multiplexer to periodically change which of the analog input signals is passed to the output of the analog multiplexer.

  • Publication number: 20200312930
Abstract: An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display may have an array of organic light-emitting diode pixels that each have OLED layers interposed between a cathode and an anode. Voltage may be applied to the anode of each pixel to control the magnitude of emitted light. The conductivity of the OLED layers may allow leakage current to pass between neighboring anodes in the display. To reduce leakage current and the accompanying cross-talk in a display, the pixel definition layer may disrupt continuity of the OLED layers. The pixel definition layer may have an undercut to disrupt continuity of some but not all of the OLED layers. The undercut may be defined by three discrete portions of the pixel definition layer. The undercut may result in a void that is interposed between different portions of the OLED layers to break a leakage path formed by the OLED layers.

  • Publication number: 20200220098
Abstract: A display may have organic light-emitting diode pixels formed from thin-film circuitry. The thin-film circuitry may be formed in thin-film transistor (TFT) layers and the organic light-emitting diodes may include anodes and cathodes and an organic emissive layer formed over the TFT layers between the anodes and cathodes. The organic emissive layer may be formed via chemical evaporation techniques. The display may include moisture blocking structures such as organic emissive layer disconnecting structures that introduce one or more gaps in the organic emissive layer during evaporation so that any potential moisture permeating path from the display panel edge to the active area of the display is completely terminated.

  • Publication number: 20200192530
Abstract: A press and hold function for conducting online surveys with a respondent in order to obtain genuine responses to the online surveys is presented herein. A user interface associated with an online survey is presented to the respondent on a screen of a computing device. The online survey can include a set of questions. Each question of the online survey can include a set of response elements. Each of these response elements can be associated with one or more response duration. In order to select a response to a question, the respondent can press a response button that is associated with one or more response elements to that question. The respondent then holds the response button for the response duration associated with the response element. After the response duration is complete, the response associated with the response element is deemed to be the response of the respondent.
