    Abstract: An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display may have an array of organic light-emitting diode pixels that each have OLED layers interposed between a cathode and an anode. Voltage may be applied to the anode of each pixel to control the magnitude of emitted light. The conductivity of the OLED layers may allow leakage current to pass between neighboring anodes in the display. To reduce leakage current and the accompanying cross-talk in a display, the pixel definition layer may disrupt continuity of the OLED layers. The pixel definition layer may have an undercut to disrupt continuity of some but not all of the OLED layers. The undercut may be defined by three discrete portions of the pixel definition layer. The undercut may result in a void that is interposed between different portions of the OLED layers to break a leakage path formed by the OLED layers.

    Abstract: Technologies described reduce the amount of time between requesting content and receiving the requested content. In some embodiments, a client provides a search query. A search result page is generated and, prior to returning the search result page to the client, some or all of the search results are asynchronously pre-fetched and cached. The search query can include custom parameters that are also included in the pre-fetch requests. Web addresses in the search results page can be modified to indicate whether a prefetch operation was initiated. Once a user activates one of the search results, the responding web server uses the cached data while generating a response.

    Abstract: A display may have organic light-emitting diode pixels formed from thin-film circuitry. The thin-film circuitry may be formed in thin-film transistor (TFT) layers and the organic light-emitting diodes may include anodes and cathodes and an organic emissive layer formed over the TFT layers between the anodes and cathodes. The organic emissive layer may be formed via chemical evaporation techniques. The display may include moisture blocking structures such as organic emissive layer disconnecting structures that introduce one or more gaps in the organic emissive layer during evaporation so that any potential moisture permeating path from the display panel edge to the active area of the display is completely terminated.

    Abstract: Techniques for integrated online and offline sales management are described. A merchant application executing on a merchant device can present options for selling an item of a merchant. The options can include (i) a first option wherein an amount for the item is payable using a payment object at a payment object reader coupled to the merchant device and (ii) a second option wherein the amount for the item is payable using a customer application. An input associated with the second option can be received via the merchant application and, responsive to the input, a payment transaction link can be generated. The payment transaction link can be presented for sharing by the merchant with at least one customer, wherein the payment transaction link enables the at least one customer to pay the amount for the item using the customer application.

A user interface associated with an online survey is presented to the respondent on a screen of a computing device. The online survey can include a set of questions. Each question of the online survey can include a set of response elements. Each of these response elements can be associated with one or more response duration. In order to select a response to a question, the respondent can press a response button that is associated with one or more response elements to that question. The respondent then holds the response button for the response duration associated with the response element. After the response duration is complete, the response associated with the response element is deemed to be the response of the respondent.

    Abstract: Two vertical NAND strings can share a common bit line by providing two pairs of drain select transistors. Channels of each vertical NAND string containing an adjoining pair of drain select transistors are incorporated into a respective vertical semiconductor channel, which is adjoined to a respective drain region which is connected to the common bit line. The drain select transistors have mismatched threshold voltages at each level such that each vertical NAND string includes a level at which a respective drain select transistor has a higher threshold voltage than a counterpart drain select transistor for the other vertical NAND string at the same level. By turning on three drain select transistors out of four, only one vertical NAND string can be activated while the common bit line is biased at a suitable bias voltage. A programming operation or a read operation can be performed only on the activated NAND string.
