Abstract: A method for estimating a metabolic rate of a user includes obtaining pulse oximetry data for the user for a period of time. The method includes determining a rate of decline in oxygen saturation of blood of the user that is associated with a breathing rate of the user for the period of time based, at least in part, on the pulse oximetry data. The method includes estimating the metabolic rate of the user for the period of time based, at least in part, on the rate of decline in the oxygen saturation of the blood that is associated with the breathing rate of the user. The method includes providing a notification indicative of the metabolic rate for the period of time.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for transvascular ablation of target tissue. The devices and methods may, in some examples, be used for splanchnic nerve ablation to increase splanchnic venous blood capacitance to treat at least one of heart failure and hypertension. For example, the devices disclosed herein may be advanced endovascularly to a target vessel in the region of a thoracic splanchnic nerve (TSN), such as a greater splanchnic nerve (GSN) or a TSN nerve root. Also disclosed are methods of treating heart failure, such as HFpEF, by endovascularly ablating a thoracic splanchnic nerve to increase venous capacitance and reduce pulmonary blood pressure.

The logging entity may obtain log information from the firewall or other security device and store the log information such that it is accessible to the customer. Additionally, the log information may be provided to other services such as a metrics service or intrusion detection service.

The external component may comprise a wireless data receiver configured to receive the plurality of digital representations of the biopotential signals and a wireless power transmitter configured to provide power to the internal component. A shielding component may separate the wireless power transmitter from the wireless data receiver. An interface may be configured to communicate with a prosthesis and configured to cause the prosthesis to implement a voluntary motion based on the plurality of digital presentations of the biopotential signals.
