  • Publication number: 20230036270
Abstract: A sequence of call volume measurements is accessed, where each of the call volume measurements is associated with respective metadata. The respective metadata may provide information regarding a time period during which a call volume measurement was made. A window of the sequence of call volume measurements with the respective metadata is input to a machine learning model to obtain a prediction of a call volume. The machine learning model includes embedding functions that are applied to the respective metadata for the call volume measurements in the window.

  • Patent number: 11504185
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for transvascular ablation of target tissue. The devices and methods may, in some examples, be used for splanchnic nerve ablation to increase splanchnic venous blood capacitance to treat at least one of heart failure and hypertension. For example, the devices disclosed herein may be advanced endovascularly to a target vessel in the region of a thoracic splanchnic nerve (TSN), such as a greater splanchnic nerve (GSN) or a TSN nerve root. Also disclosed are methods of treating heart failure, such as HFpEF, by endovascularly ablating a thoracic splanchnic nerve to increase venous capacitance and reduce pulmonary blood pressure.

  • Publication number: 20220309492
Abstract: A method for a fully distributed privacy-preserving multi-lateral netting between parties is disclosed. The method comprising collecting pending transactions between at least a part of the parties, publishing a commitment of pending transactions to a bulletin board, secretly sharing de-commitments among the parties, and publishing, by each party, its determined liquidity status, to the bulletin board. Furthermore, the method comprises upon determining a failure in the publishing of any liquidity status, performing the following MPC by determining whether all pending transactions are settable maintaining positive liquidity for each party, and upon determining a failure in the determining, for each party, whether all pending transactions are nettable determining an optimized subset of transactions that are nettable without violating liquidity requirements for each party.

  • Publication number: 20220310060
Abstract: A method for multi-channel voice activity detection includes receiving a sequence of input frames characterizing streaming multi-channel audio captured by an array of microphones. Each channel of the streaming multi-channel audio includes respective audio features captured by a separate dedicated microphone. The method also includes determining, using a location fingerprint model, a location fingerprint indicating a location of a source of the multi-channel audio relative to the user device based on the respective audio features of each channel of the multi-channel audio. The method also includes generating an output from an application-specific classifier. The first score indicates a likelihood that the multi-channel audio corresponds to a particular audio type that the particular application is configured to process.

  • Publication number: 20220245241
Abstract: An illustrative method includes a data protection system determining a first compressibility metric associated with write traffic processed by a storage system, the first compressibility metric indicating an amount of storage space saved if the write traffic is compressed; determining a second compressibility metric associated with read traffic processed by a storage system, the second compressibility metric indicating an amount of storage space saved if the read traffic is compressed; determining, based on a comparison of the first compressibility metric with the second compressibility metric, that the write traffic is less compressible than the read traffic; determining, based on the write traffic being less compressible than the read traffic, that the storage system is possibly being targeted by a security threat; and performing, based on the determining that the storage system is possibly being targeted by the security threat, a remedial action with respect to the storage system.
