  • Publication number: 20210342381
Abstract: A method for generating a set of concepts related to a target concept includes accessing a set of candidate concepts, embedding the target concept and the set of candidate concepts in a semantic vector space, selecting one or more intermediate concepts from the set of candidate concepts in response to determining whether each embedded candidate concept in the set of embedded candidate concepts satisfies a predetermined relationship with the embedded target concept, and filtering the one or more intermediate concepts to yield the set of concepts related to the target concept. The method may further include generating a multiple-choice question in which the target concept corresponds to a correct answer choice and the set of concepts related to the target concept correspond to distractors.

  • Publication number: 20210341551
Abstract: A system for determining a stuck point of a pipe positioned within a wellbore includes a tubular housing and a sensor array positioned within the tubular housing. The system also includes ferromagnetic flux collectors and flux concentrators on either side of the sensor array. The flux collectors collect a magnetic flux that has been written to a portion of pipe. • Publication number: 20210332629
Abstract: A commercial vehicle used for parcel delivery is installed with a control module. The control module communicates wirelessly with a transmitter to give control to the vehicle operator. The vehicle operator can access the vehicle's cargo compartment through the bulkhead door and/or the rear door solely by using the transmitter as opposed to manually actuating the door latch. A door actuator is added to the bulkhead door such that when the bulkhead door is wirelessly actuated the door opens without operator assistance, and the process of the door opening does not damage the vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle operator can initiate the control module to allow a push-button start and stop of the vehicle's ignition system. Such elements contribute to time savings and cost savings for parcel delivery operators.

  • Publication number: 20210322801
Abstract: A face mask include a bulbous area that reduces contact between the wearer and the mask, with the inner surface texture and material adapted to be comfortable to the wearer. The bulbous area may be equipped with a filter retained by slots at the edge of the bulbous area, with the inner surface texture and material of the filter also adapted to be comfortable to the wearer. The mask may be knit with seamless transitions between wearer-contacting surfaces and the bulbous area, which enhance the comfort of the mask. The mask may include silvered yarns for antimicrobial properties. Furthermore, the bulbous area increases the effective surface area of the mask on both inhalation and exhalation, unlike pleats that collapse on inhalation.

  • Patent number: 11112405
Abstract: Assay devices, systems, methods, and kits useful for detection of analytes in a bodily fluid sample, such as saliva, are disclosed herein. Assay devices may include a fluid sample collector and an assessment unit to which the fluid sample collector couples. The fluid sample collector may include a cap with a plunger and absorbent member that collects a bodily fluid sample. Insertion of the plunger into the assessment unit during coupling provides pressure-driven fluid flow through a filter rapidly delivering bodily fluid filtrate to one or more test panels which provide the assay result. In embodiments, an on-board light source enables a user to readily detect changes in a test panel indicative of the presence of an analyte thus providing an opportunity for obtaining rapid results with improved confidence.

  • Patent number: 11102330
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for validating and publishing workflows from remote environments. In some implementations, server information is received over a communication network, where the server information indicates at least one of services of a server environment and software versions of the services. A condition that occurred at the server environment is detected. A software update for the server environment is selected based on the detected condition and at least one of (i) the services and (ii) the software versions of the services, the software versions of the services to stop the detected condition from occurring at the server environment. An update package for the server environment is obtained, where the update package is configured to specify a procedure for installing the software update for the server environment. The update package is sent to the server environment over the communication network.

  • Patent number: 11102331
Abstract: One or more computers receive a request from a user to change a configuration of a computing environment provided by one or more servers. In response to receiving the request and before performing the requested change in the configuration of the environment, the computers determine an estimated measure of performance that represents a level of performance of the computing environment if changed according to the request and provide data indicating performance measures indicating the estimated measure of performance for the environment corresponding to the change in the configuration of the environment. After providing the data indicating the estimated performance measures, the computers receive data indicating user input confirming the request to change the configuration of the environment, and perform the requested change in the configuration of the computing environment.
