  • Patent number: 11035165
Abstract: A commercial vehicle used for parcel delivery is installed with a control module. The control module communicates wirelessly with a transmitter to give control to the vehicle operator. The vehicle operator can access the vehicle's cargo compartment through the bulkhead door and/or the rear door solely by using the transmitter as opposed to manually actuating the door latch. A door actuator is added to the bulkhead door such that when the bulkhead door is wirelessly actuated the door opens without operator assistance, and the process of the door opening does not damage the vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle operator can initiate the control module to allow a push-button start and stop of the vehicle's ignition system. Such elements contribute to time savings and cost savings for parcel delivery operators.

  • Patent number: 11017099
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for entropy balanced population measurement. Entropy balancing is a statistical technique for preprocessing data to achieve covariate balance. Weighting coefficients may be dynamically adjusted to satisfy balance conditions or constraints to adjust for inequalities in representation, thereby improving covariate moments. Using entropy balancing and linear regression analysis with panel content exposure and results data provides a mechanism to estimate the effects of multiple exposure vectors simultaneously, including instances where panelists are exposed to a vector multiple times. Data may be obfuscated or anonymized for preprocessing via a double-encrypted intersection-based extraction mechanism, allowing both measurement systems and panel providers to retain confidential information.

  • Publication number: 20210131684
Abstract: A system that provides effective and efficient introduction of water droplets into an air flow. The water droplets are sufficiently small so as to evaporate primarily before leaving the mixing enclosure where the droplets are injected by spray nozzles. Large droplets are kept to a minimum, thus reducing condensation and water accumulation to a very small amount. An amount of water usage is significantly less than that of a conventional evaporative humidifier of the same capacity. The present system may be placed in an enclosure that can readily replace other conventional evaporative humidifiers in enclosures. The present enclosure and system may be installed in lieu of a conventional enclosure and evaporative humidifier with minimal effort. The present enclosure has features that facilitate droplet to air mixing, viewing, humidification, and testing. In permissible situations, the present system may replace a conventional system but retain the conventional enclosure.

  • Publication number: 20210136164
Abstract: A system that creates and automatically builds one or more entity models that are derived from communication-based information received over a network. Building the entity models uses machine learning, a user interface, a sentiment analyzer, a communication monitoring agent and an automated bot. Bots are created based on a bot template. New communication-based information is analyzed and processed to improve the entity model, to keep the bot up-to-date, and to update other services and products that the entity relies on. The system enables a business to cluster other entities together to assist in identifying competitors. The system provides analytical information about how users journey through an entity model. The system automatically maintains listings such as frequently asked questions. The system works in a networked environment, which may be a distributed network.

  • Publication number: 20210124610
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for workflow generation using multiple interfaces. In some implementations, an interface for defining a workflow having one or more operations for a computer system to perform is provided. The interface can provide options that are selectable to cause an operation from a predetermined set of operations to be added to the workflow. Data indicating user selection of an option of the interface corresponding to a first operation in the predetermined set of operations is received. Code that specifies one or more custom operations is received. The workflow is defined to include (i) the first operation based on the data indicating the user selection and (ii) a second operation specified by the code.
