Abstract: A system and method using a single-minor micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) two-dimensional (2D) scanning mirror assembly, and/or a digital micromirror device (DMD having a plurality of independently steerable minors) for steering a plurality of light beams that include one or more light beam(s) for the headlight beam(s) of a vehicle and/or one or more light beam(s) for LiDAR purposes, along with highly effective associated devices for light-wavelength conversion, light dumping and heatsinking. Some embodiments include a digital camera, wherein image data from the digital camera and distance data from the LiDAR sensor are combined to provide information used to control the size, shape and direction of the smart headlight beam.

Abstract: The present invention relates to audio recording, and in particular to a method for audio recording and conversion of smart headset. The smart headset establishes communication with the mobile terminal, and the mobile terminal sends an instruction to the smart headset to start recording. The smart headset splits audio data into two channels, wherein one is sent to the SPEAK end of the smart headset and played, the other is sent to the mobile terminal after being compressed and packaged. The smart headset uses its cache memory to cache the audio data packets, and determines whether it has received the confirmation signals from the mobile terminal within the response time limit. If the smart headset has received the confirmation signals from the mobile terminal within the response time limit, it will clear the corresponding audio data packets from the cache memory, otherwise re-send the audio data packet cached.

Abstract: The system and method of duet video creating and advertising of the present invention is a digital platform that provides duet templates for video creators to create duet videos, each duet template is associated with a right template clip selection button, a left template clip selection button, an invitation button and a sponsor button, such that a creator can use the right or left template clip selection button to choose to act as the right or left template clip, use the invitation button to invite someone to create a duet video together, and an advertiser can use the sponsor button to sponsor a template and embed ad to the template, such that a duet video created from a duet template will carry the same embedded ad, and the embedded ad can be shared together with the duet video to other video or social platforms.

Abstract: A system for troubleshooting network problems is disclosed. A model can use demographic information, network usage information, and network membership information to determine an importance of a problem. The importance of the problem for the user who reported the problem, a number of other users affected by the problem, and the importance of the problem to the other users can be used to determine a priority for resolving the problem. Before and after a work order is executed to resolve the problem, network metrics can be gathered, including aggregate network metrics, and automatically presented in various user interfaces. The analysis of the metrics can be used to update a database of which work orders are assigned in response to which problems.

Abstract: Various systems and methods for aggregating data from disparate sources to determine an optimal package of data items are disclosed. For example, the system described herein can obtain data items from various sources, aggregate and/or organize the data items into an optimal package based on various criteria, and present, via an interactive user interface, the optimal package. Furthermore, the interactive user interface may enable a user to adjust the criteria used to aggregate and/or organize the data items. The system may interactively re-aggregate and re-organize the data items using the adjusted criteria as the user interacts with the package via the user interface. The system and user interface may thus enable the user to optimize the packages of data items based on multiple factors quickly and efficiently.

Abstract: A laser-excited phosphor light source and method includes a heat sink; a plurality of lasers, each mounted in thermal contact to the heat sink, wherein each of the plurality of lasers emits one or more first (e.g., blue) wavelengths. A crystal phosphor rod having two ends and at least one side face is operatively coupled to receive the laser light from one or more of the plurality of lasers. The rod emits light of one or more longer wavelengths. A compound parabolic concentrator (CPC) receives the light from the crystal phosphor rod. The light source outputs an output light beam that includes the light of one or more longer wavelengths from the first crystal phosphor rod and light of the one or more first (e.g., blue) wavelengths. Some embodiments include multiple phosphor light sources of different colors, and/or a blue light source not using phosphors.

Abstract: A latching handleset assembly includes a handle, a trigger, and a latch driver. The handle has a handle portion and a top mounting portion that extends from an escutcheon. The top mounting portion has a top surface and a bottom that is at least partially obscured by the handle portion. The trigger includes an exterior end located along the bottom of the top mounting portion and an interior end extending into the escutcheon. The trigger is pivotable about a pivot point positioned within the escutcheon. The latch driver is movable between a neutral position and a latch actuating position in response to actuation of the trigger.

Abstract: An illumination system includes a waveguide having a first end configured to receive a laser light, a luminescent portion configured to generate a luminescent light from the laser light, a second end opposite the first end; an input device configured to collect the laser light for propagation to the first end; an output device adjacent to the second end configured to reflect at least some of the laser light back into the luminescent portion and direct the luminescent light away from the second end through an output surface. In one embodiment, the input device includes a light homogenizer configured to receive the laser light and provide to the first end of the waveguide a spatially uniform intensity distribution of the laser light. In another embodiment, a heat dissipater is provided adjacent to the waveguide and configured to dissipate heat generated within the waveguide by the generation of the luminescent light.
