    Abstract: An eye-tracking system is provided. The system includes an at least partially transparent visible light waveguide having a visible light display region configured to emit visible light to impinge upon an eye of a user. A light source is configured to emit at least infrared (IR) light that travels along an IR light path to impinge on the eye. A microelectromechanical system (MEMS) scanning mirror positioned in the IR light path is configured to direct the IR light along the IR light path. A relay positioned in the IR light path downstream of the MEMS scanning mirror includes at least one mirror configured to reflect the IR light along the IR light path. At least one sensor is configured to receive the IR light after being reflected by the eye.

    Abstract: A process to enhance the performance of plastic optical fiber to operate with a high data rate (e.g., at least 1 gigabit per second) at high temperature (e.g., 100 degrees Celsius) for airplane avionic systems. Gigabit plastic optical fiber has a core including a dopant that enables data transmission at gigabit rates. The enhancement process uses rapid thermal cooling of the gigabit plastic optical fiber to stabilize the polymer matrix of the fiber. This rapid cooling treatment blocks dopant diffusion in a high-temperature environment, thereby avoiding degradation of the fiber's bandwidth and optical loss characteristic. Such degradation typically occurs in gigabit plastic optical fiber having core and cladding made of transparent carbon-hydrogen bond-free perfluorinated polymer.

    Abstract: Numerous embodiments of an improved charge pump design are disclosed for generating the high voltages necessary to perform erase and program operations in non-volatile flash memory devices. In these embodiments, each boost stage in the charge pump is modified to overcome a deficiency in prior art charge pumps whereby voltage actually would decrease in the final boost stage. These modifications include the addition of one or more of a clock doubling circuit, a local self-precharge circuit, a feed-forward precharge circuit, a feed-backward precharge circuit, and a hybrid circuit comprising NMOS and PMOS transistors and diodes.

    Abstract: Vascular remodeling devices can include a proximal section, an intermediate section, and a distal section. During deployment, the proximal section can expand from a compressed delivery state to an expanded state and anchor the device in an afferent vessel of a bifurcation. The distal section expands from the compressed delivery state to an expanded state that may be substantially planar, approximately semi-spherical, umbrella shaped, or reverse umbrella shaped. The distal section is positioned in a bifurcation junction across the neck of an aneurysm or within an aneurysm. The intermediate section allows perfusion to efferent vessels. Before or after the device is in position, embolic material may be used to treat the aneurysm. The distal section can act as a scaffolding to prevent herniation of the embolic material. The device can be used for clot retrieval with integral distal embolic protection.

In one implementation, a substrate processing chamber includes an isolator ring disposed between a pedestal and a pumping liner. The isolator ring includes a first surface that faces the pedestal, the first surface being disposed at a gap from an outer circumferential surface of the pedestal. The isolator ring also includes a second surface that faces the pumping liner and a protrusion that protrudes from the first surface of the isolator ring and towards the outer circumferential surface of the pedestal.     Abstract: A predictive maintenance server receives data from sensors of equipment. The server uses one or more machine learning models to assign an anomaly score. Responsive to the anomaly score exceeding a threshold value, the server may issue an alert. The machine learning model may be supervised or unsupervised. In one embodiment, the machine learning model use several sensor channels to predict the values of one or more vitals of the equipment and compare the predicted values to the actual measured values of the vitals. The server may assign an anomaly score based on the differences between the predicted values and the measured values. In one embodiment, the machine learning model may be an autoencoder that generates a distribution of the measurement values to determine the likelihood of observing the actual measured values in a normal operation. In one embodiment, the server may use a histogram approach to predict anomaly.
