  • Patent number: 9075493
Abstract: Techniques to present hierarchical information as orthographic projections are described. An apparatus may comprise an orthographic projection application arranged to manage a three dimensional orthographic projection of hierarchical information. The orthographic projection application may comprise a hierarchical information component operative to receive hierarchical information representing multiple nodes at different hierarchical levels, and parse the hierarchical information into a tree data structure, an orthographic generator component operative to generate a graphical tile for each node, arrange graphical tiles for each hierarchical level into graphical layers, and arrange the graphical layers in a vertical stack, and an orthographic presentation component operative to present a three dimensional orthographic projection of the hierarchical information with the stack of graphical layers each having multiple graphical tiles. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 8789232
Abstract: A personal hygiene device is provided to assist a user to wipe him or herself, another, or an area of the home. The device contains a gripping head constructed of a flexible material and contains a gripping element, which may hold a wipe within it. The device also contains a rigid housing, and a pump at the opposite end of the gripping head, such that upon actuation of the pump increased fluid pressure inside the gripping head opens the internal grips to an extent that any wipe held therein will be released. In an embodiment of the invention, the housing contains a hinge so the unit may be folded for storage, or extended and locked in place for use.

  • Patent number: 7251323
Abstract: The present invention provides an improved hinge design for a mobile station or other electronic device that simplifies hinge assembly and thus, provides a more cost-effective manufactured product. Moreover, the improved hinge assembly complements the aesthetic appeal of the foldable mobile station and provides less stress on various internal elements. In particular, the present invention includes a foldable mobile station or other foldable electronic device having a first functional component that is coupled to a second functional component via a bi-stable structure. The bi-stable structure functions to bias the first and second functional components in either an open or closed position.

The rack includes a rack component having a first and second ends, first and second sides, and a plurality of foot members, a drain mat supported by the foot members, and a detachable basin attached to a side or end of the rack component. The drain mat includes two sets of positioning members of two distinct lengths on a lower surface. By engaging longer positioning members on one side of the mat and shorter positioning members on the opposite side of the mat, the mat is held in a sloped configuration. The slope may be either toward the integral spout, thereby draining water from the mat, or opposite the integral spout, thereby retaining a substantial amount of water on the mat. The latter configuration permitting the storage rack to be used as a stand alone system.
