  • Patent number: 10868811
Abstract: A proxy server mitigates security risks of user credentials sent across a network in clear text. The proxy server encrypts user credentials within a client application request destined for an application server. The proxy server forwards the client application request to the application server. • Patent number: 10713141
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for determining a duration of time required to render a web page or other content displayed by a native application running on a user device. One embodiment captures screenshots of the application's displayed output on a user device as video frames, and determines when the displayed output image content stabilizes. Another embodiment measures the number of service calls from a mobile client machine and the data requested and/or sent in response to such calls to determine native application performance. In another embodiment, a configuration file updates application executables and runs batch content rendering performance tests. Embodiments timestamp and store test results for subsequent visual depiction, evaluation, and analysis by developer teams and/or users. Performance variations due to changes to a native application or content may be routed to a particular application developer or content designer for possible correction and improvement.

  • Publication number: 20200110729
Abstract: Example implementations relate to identifying file system objects of a file system for generating an initial baseline of the file system. In an example, an inode table of the file system is retrieved. Modes included in the inode table correspond respectively to file system objects of the file system. Attributes, including an object identifier and a time attribute, are extracted from each of the inodes of the inode table. A compilation of the object identifiers from the extracted attributes are provided to a service that generates the initial baseline of the file system using the compilation.

  • Patent number: 10606822
Abstract: Dynamic updating of metadata associated with a file system is described herein. In accordance with an example, the updating includes creating a shadow file system metadata (FSM) index map in a shadow data block. The shadow data block is associated with a metadata storage of the file system and the metadata storage stores metadata files associated with the file system. The shadow FSM index map is associated with the metadata storage through an index map of the metadata storage, the index map being indicative of the metadata files in the metadata storage. The shadow FSM index map is updated to dynamically update the metadata associated with the file system, in the metadata storage.

  • Patent number: 10530658
Abstract: An information handling system (IHS) includes controller that performs a method of automating acquisition of link local Internet Protocol (IP) network address of servers. Controller acts as Group manager server (GMS) that maintains an inventory of a respective link local Internet Protocol (IP) network address and public key of each server that is addressable over a local area network (LAN). GMS receives an IP network address and credentials associated with a management console that are used to obtain a public key from the management console. GMS transmits to the management console a GMS IP network address and public key associated with the GMS. GMS encrypts the inventory with the public key of the management console to generate an encrypted inventory. GMS transmits the IP network address and the public key of the management console to each server. GMS forwards the encrypted inventory to the management console to enable secure communication.

  • Patent number: 10517136
Abstract: A wireless communication system to detect a sleepy-cell condition. The wireless communication system comprises a remote radio head that receives network data comprising user data and beamforming instructions from a baseband unit. The remote radio head transfers the user data to wireless communication devices over wireless column beams responsive to the beamforming instructions. The remote radio head further detects a loss of the beamforming instructions for a time threshold and responsively transfers a sleepy-cell alarm indicating the baseband unit.

  • Patent number: 10389735
Abstract: A proxy server converts web or networked applications that communicate with remotely located servers or other data providers, into read-only applications. The proxy server dynamically analyzes web client application requests sent by client devices and determines whether each request is human-generated or machine-generated. One or more actions are performed when a request is determined to be human-generated.

  • Publication number: 20190220411
Abstract: Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently partitioning a frame into bins. For example, a device may identify a size of a cache and determine dimensions of a frame. The device may divide the frame into a first region and a second region that is separate from the first region. The device may then divide the first region into a plurality of bins that have a first vertical dimension and a first horizontal dimension (or varying vertical and/or horizontal dimensions) and divide the second region into one or more bins, where at least one bin has a second vertical dimension that is greater than the first vertical dimension or a second horizontal dimension that is greater than the first horizontal dimension. The device may render the frame using the plurality of bins and the one or more bins. By efficiently partitioning the frame, rendering performance may be improved.

  • Patent number: 10256708
Abstract: An electric machine includes a stator and a rotor operable with the stator. The rotor includes at least one pole section, the pole section defining a direct axis in a flux barrier having a first end and a second end. Each of the first and second ends are positioned proximate to the stator. The first end defines a first angular position relative to the direct axis and the second end defines a second angular position relative to the direct axis. The first angular position is different in magnitude than the second angular position to reduce a torque ripple or torque oscillation of the electric machine.
