  • Publication number: 20230342499
Abstract: A computer-implemented method is performed by a server, for generating secure calendar data for a user device. A first calendar object associated with a first date and comprising a first secure token is generated. The first calendar object is stored on the server. The first calendar object is provided to the user device. A plurality of further calendar objects are stored on the server for communication to the user device, each of the further calendar objects being associated with a respective date and comprising content data defining an event in the calendar. A request for calendar synchronisation is received from the user device. A second calendar object associated with a second date and comprising a second secure token is generated. The second calendar object is stored on the server. The user device is notified of a respective version of the first calendar object and the second calendar object.

  • Patent number: 11727474
Abstract: A sales person at a retail store which traditionally does not sell paint assists a consumer in selecting and purchasing a non-paint product and thereafter employs a computer terminal and display in conjunction with a website operated by a paint manufacturer to provide a paint color recommendation to the consumer. The sales person may thereafter respond to consumer selection of a particular paint color by employing an on-line electronic ordering tool to transmit a paint order to an order processing terminal located at a paint manufacturer facility. Thereafter, the paint manufacturer may proceed to process the order, perform tinting and shaking steps to formulate paint of the particular color, package the tinted paint, and cause the packaged paint to be shipped to the consumer.

  • Publication number: 20180168372
Abstract: A blanket assembly may include a removable cover. The removable cover includes a first portion, a second portion attached to the first portion, and a cavity is defined by the first portion and the second portion. The blanket assembly also includes a first blanket insert sized to fit within the cavity, a fastener mechanism that connects the first blanket insert at a fixed location within the cavity, and a liquid resistant barrier disposed around the first blanket insert within the cavity.

  • Publication number: 20170368783
Abstract: A pad holder includes a base panel. The base panel includes a panel perimeter edge that defines a panel face. A lip material is connected to the panel face at a connection. A lip of the lip material extends from the connection towards a center of the panel face. The lip includes a lip perimeter edge, and the lip, panel face, and the connection collectively define an envelope. The envelope includes an opening defined by the lip perimeter edge. The envelope is sized to receive a liquid absorbent pad where the lip overlaps edges of the liquid absorbent pad when the liquid absorbent pad is disposed within the envelope.

  • Patent number: 8501398
Abstract: The invention provides a method of determining the amount of an analyte having an oxidation potential, for a one electron oxidation process, of about +0.10 to about +1.20 volts at pH 7, relative to the normal hydrogen electrode at 298K, said method comprising measuring the emission intensity or emission lifetime, at two or more wavelengths, from a sample comprising said analyte and two or more different macrocyclic lanthanide (III) complexes, wherein each of said macrocyclic lanthanide (III) complexes comprises a different lanthanide ion but the same macrocyclic ligand, and using a ratio of emission intensities or emission lifetimes measured at two different wavelengths to calculate the amount of analyte in said sample.

  • Publication number: 20100198012
Abstract: Apparatus for inserting an instrument (1) in a flexible body cavity is disclosed. The apparatus includes a sheath (3) having an inner chamber (31) for accommodating the instrument (1) and an outer chamber (41) surrounding the inner chamber, thereby defining an enclosed space between the inner chamber and the outer chamber Fluid pressure is temporarily applied to thse enclosed space so as to expand the outer chamber to facilitate insertion of the instrument in the body cavity. In another embodiment the inner chamber is expandable to have a diameter equal to or greater than the diameter of the outer chamber, and wherein the outer chamber incorporates one or more lines of weakness for facilitating release and expansion of the inner chamber and withdrawal of the instrument from the inner chamber. In yet another embodiment the sheath includes at its distal end a convex lens for use by a camera in obtaining images of said body cavity.
