Patent number: 12264924Abstract: A reactive path planner for vehicles is disclosed. The reactive path planner, based on a nominal path from A to B, generates alternative parallel paths which are displaced by a predefined lateral distance from the nominal path using constrained quintic polynomials. Constraints are imposed on the alternative paths to ensure safety and comfort based on dynamic and mechanical feasibilities of the vehicle. A cost function is applied to the nominal path and alternative paths select the path with the least cost. The reactive path planner achieves a complete path planning solution with high computational efficiency, even in highly cluttered and dynamic environments.Type: GrantFiled: October 25, 2022Date of Patent: April 1, 2025Assignee: MOOVITA PTE LTDInventors: Kendrick Amezquita-Semprun, Fu Keong Chia, Banghyon Lee, Anthony Wong, Wai Hong Tan

Patent number: 12126487Abstract: A network disruption detection engine gathers and stores network routing path update messages that routinely modify routing tables used by internet routers for transporting message traffic between a source and a destination. Routing path messages continually maintain a network transport infrastructure both for intranets used for particular entities such as corporations, and internet traffic between arbitrary source and destination nodes. Major disruptions or outages typically result in an increase in routing path messages, typically focused on a particular set, region or network entity where the disruption occurred, as other routing entities seek to avoid the troubled region. Analysis of this sudden activity of routing messages and extracting message content about the network region they seek to avoid allows identification and queries of a widespread network outage.Type: GrantFiled: June 13, 2023Date of Patent: October 22, 2024Assignee: Two Six Labs, LLCInventors: Chae A. Clark, Robert P. Gove, Jr., Violet Lingenfelter, Anthony Wong

Patent number: 11904843Abstract: A method and system for autonomous parking are disclosed. The system employs Homography guided motion segmentation (HGMS) to determine the availability of a parking slot. A free parking slot is determined based on an occupancy status check and identified structures of parking lines. For example, motion analysis is performed on successive images captured by a camera unit to determine the occupancy status of a parking slot. Information of the free parking slot, for example, the dimensions and orientation, may be determined from identifying the structure of parking lines. This information is used by the system to guide a vehicle from its current location to the detected free parking slot.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2020Date of Patent: February 20, 2024Assignee: MOOVITA PTE LTDInventors: Upendra Suddamalla, Ravichandiran Balaji, Anthony Wong, Dilip Kumar Limbu

Publication number: 20230122293Abstract: An autonomous driving system capable of detecting oncoming occluded vehicles is disclosed in low-light conditions. The system captures images which are processed and analyzed to determine bright spots in a region of interest which are related to reflections of an oncoming occluded vehicle. If an oncoming occluded vehicle is detected, the system analyzes the criticality of the situation based on a tunable threshold distance. The tunable threshold distance from the equipped vehicle (vehicle with the autonomous driving system) to the oncoming occluded vehicle. Factors for tuning the threshold distance may include curvature of the road, sharpness of the turn or occluded area, road surface conditions, speed of the equipped vehicle as well as mechanical capabilities of the equipped vehicle. If the situation is critical, the system generates a warning signal indicating a hazardous condition.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 19, 2022Publication date: April 20, 2023Inventors: Karthikeyan NAGARAJAN, Upendra SUDDAMALLA, Anthony WONG, Dilip Kumar LIMBU
