Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to a conductive perforated plate for electrical testing of a device under test (DUT) in semiconductor processing. In an example, a device circuit in a die area is formed in or over a semiconductor substrate. The device circuit has an interconnect level. A DUT is formed in or over the semiconductor substrate. A conductive perforated plate is formed in the interconnect level conductively connected to the DUT. A plurality of insulating islands is disposed within the conductive perforated plate.

Abstract: A wireless power enabled apparatus may comprise a wireless power receiver that includes a receive coil configured to generate an AC signal responsive an electromagnetic field, a rectifier including a plurality of switches configured to receive the AC signal and generate an output power signal, and control logic configured to control the plurality of switches to cause the rectifier to modulate the output power signal. The control logic may be configured to control the plurality of switches within the rectifier to have an overlap delay that modulates at least one parameter of the wireless power receiver. A method of operating a receiver side of a wireless power transfer system comprises generating an output power signal including a rectified voltage and a rectified current responsive to receiving a wireless power signal, and controlling a rectifier according to at least one mode including a power modulation mode modulating the output power signal.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program for monitoring and corrupting a data stream, includes a data stream transmitting device having a barcode scanner that transmits a stream of data corresponding to a scanned barcode; a data stream receiver device having a barcode processing system that receives the stream; and a monitoring and corrupting device coupled therebetween having a database storing rules for detecting and corrupting patterns of data in the stream, and which monitors the stream, and based on the rules determines if the stream is unwanted, and if so corrupts the stream and transmits the corrupted stream to the barcode processing system so that the barcode data stream cannot be correctly received by the data stream receiver device. Otherwise, if the stream of data is wanted, the stream of data is allowed to be correctly received by the data stream receiver device.

Abstract: A package for an electronic device includes an enclosure to hold the electronic device. The package may include a closure flap coupled to a top of the package to close the enclosure. The closure flap may include a tear strip usable to open the package. A sled may be disposed in the package and may include a substantially planar backplane and a sleeve. The electronic device may be held in a gap between the backplane and the sleeve. A portion of a top edge of the package, under the closure flap, may be recessed such that when the closure flap is opened, a pull tab of the sled is exposed. The package may include a hole formed through at least one surface of the package, from which to hang the package.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program for detecting proximity of a mobile device, including a circuit configured to detect proximity of a mobile device, and when detection occurs, enable a beacon circuit to wake up and advertise a presence. The circuit including a proximity sensor circuit; a wake signal generated by the proximity sensor circuit when the mobile device has been detected; and a beacon circuit, normally in a low power, non-communicating state, and while activated by the wake signal advertises a presence of the beacon circuit for a predetermined amount of time, after which the beacon circuit returns to a low power, non-communicating state.

The application determining a commerce transaction with a point of sale (POS) device and communicating with the POS device to obtain information regarding the commerce transaction. The application determining if based on the stored incentive rules and the obtained information regarding the commerce transaction whether or not a discount or incentive can be issued. If the discount or incentive can be issued, the application communicating with the POS device to issue a corresponding discount or incentive.

The universal product code (UPC) injection sub-system including an interface device coupled between the UPC reader device and the POS device and incorporating an OR function to prevent disruption of an existing data stream between the POS device and the UPC reader device; and a controller device coupled to the interface device. The controller device via the interface device is configured to detect a UPC transmitted between the UPC reader and the POS device, block a UPC transmitted between the UPC reader and the POS device, and inject a UPC into the POS device. The POS device performs a POS function based on a received UPC from the controller device.
