  • Publication number: 20220036701
Abstract: A gaming device for dynamically configuring a composite feature game based on a first feature game and a second feature game. When the composite feature game is triggered, a game controller determines respective current states of a first feature game and a second feature game. The current state of the first feature game comprises a first unenhanced state that has a first unenhanced play characteristic and a first enhanced state that has a first enhanced play characteristic. The current state of the second feature game comprises a second unenhanced state that has a second unenhanced play characteristic and a second enhanced state that has a second unenhanced play characteristic. The game controller dynamically incorporates one of the first enhanced play characteristic and one of the second unenhanced play characteristic and the second unenhanced play characteristic into a composite play characteristic.

  • Patent number: 11210901
Abstract: A gaming device comprises a display, a processor, and a memory storing instructions. When the instructions are executed by the processor, the instructions cause the processor to select a plurality of symbols from each of a plurality of reel strips, wherein at least one of the plurality of reel strips comprises a designated symbol, control the display to display the selected symbols of each of the plurality of reel strips in a corresponding column of symbol positions, and evaluate the selected symbols for winning combinations. The evaluation includes upon the selected symbols including the designated symbol and a first prize symbol, awarding a first prize, and upon the selected symbols including the designated symbol and a second prize symbol, awarding a second prize.

  • Publication number: 20210295639
Abstract: A gaming device having a processor that selects symbols from a first set of reel strips for a plurality of columns of symbol positions, and from a second set of reel strips for a plurality of columns of symbol positions, and controls a display to display the symbols selected including displaying, at each symbol position for which a defined symbol is selected, the defined symbol with the symbol selected at a respective symbol position. Upon the symbols selected including a qualifier symbol, the processor randomly selects one of at least two different symbol replacements, and determines, using the symbol replacements, a replacement symbol for the defined symbol selected. The processor updates the plurality of symbols to incorporate the replacement symbol, and evaluates the updated plurality of symbols for winning symbol combinations.

  • Publication number: 20210110665
Abstract: An electronic gaming device comprising a display that displays a plurality of symbols in a plurality of symbol positions, a game controller that determines if the plurality of symbols include a trigger symbol, in response to determining that the plurality of symbols include the trigger symbol, controls the display to display the trigger symbol being transformed into a prize component symbol, incrementally animates a filling of a prize component of a first prize with the prize component symbol, and awards the first prize when a plurality of first prize components have been completely filled.

  • Publication number: 20200364985
Abstract: An electronic gaming system comprising a display, and a game controller that includes a processor and a memory device storing instructions to select and display a plurality of symbols in a respective plurality of display positions in a display area for each implemented game. The processor also adds a wild marker to each display position that includes a special symbol, each wild marker remaining persistent for subsequent games until a random trigger condition occurs. When a random trigger condition occurs, the processor adds a wild symbol to each display position that includes a wild marker, evaluates a game outcome based on the selected and displayed symbols inclusive of all added wild symbols, and awards a win amount if the outcome corresponds to a winning outcome.

  • Publication number: 20200312086
Abstract: An electronic gaming device comprises a credit input device; a display; an input device operable to receive player input and a processor. The display displays a plurality of symbols selected for display, and one or both of a first trigger symbol and a second trigger symbol as part of the plurality of symbols selected for display. After displaying one or both of the first trigger symbol and the second trigger symbol, the processor animates collecting one or both of the first trigger symbol and the second trigger symbol. After displaying both of the first trigger symbol and the second trigger symbol are collected, the processor initiates a first composite feature game incorporating at least one characteristic of each of a first feature game and a second feature game.

  • Publication number: 20200312087
Abstract: A gaming device that includes a display displaying a plurality of symbols in a plurality of columns of symbol positions, respectively, and a game controller that determines whether the plurality of symbols selected for display include one or both of the first trigger symbol and the second trigger symbol, in response to determining that the symbols include a first trigger symbol but not a second trigger symbol, randomly determines whether to conduct a first feature game, and in response to determining that the symbols selected include both the first trigger symbol and the second trigger symbol, randomly determines whether to conduct a third feature game selected between the first feature game, a second feature game, and a composite game incorporating at least one characteristic of each of the first feature game and the second feature game.

  • Patent number: 9824528
Abstract: A computer implemented method of gaming. The method includes monitoring game outcomes generated for one or more players of a plurality of linked gaming machines, and for each generated game outcome i) identifying instances of one or more special symbols occurring in the generated game outcome, ii) incrementing an accumulating counter for each of the one or more special symbols based on instances of one or more special symbols occurring in the game outcome, and iii) determining whether a trigger condition is met.

  • Patent number: 9449459
Abstract: A method includes monitoring game outcomes generated for one or more players of a plurality of linked gaming machines. Instances of one or more special symbols occurring in the generated game outcome are identified. A counter for each of the one or more special symbols based on instances of one or more special symbols occurring in the game outcome, is incremented. In response to a trigger condition, one or more special symbols are allocated to one or more of the linked gaming machines for modifying a game outcome generated for a player of the linked gaming machine, to provide a new game outcome for each of the one or more players of linked gaming machines to which the special symbols are allocated. The number of special symbols allocated is based on a value of the accumulating counter.
