  • Publication number: 20220188160
Abstract: Managing batched jobs is provided. The method comprises receiving a job batch request from a client for a number of processing jobs. Each job is registered, and jobs that are ready for execution at a specified time are collected. For each collected job an instance of the job is locked to prevent duplicate execution. The locked jobs are queued, and a container is created for each job in the queue. A method of execution is determined for each job in the queue, and each job is then executed according the method determined for that job. Job events for each executing job are logged, a determination if a job was completed successfully is made according to its respective job events. A job status is updated for each completed job. The container of each completed job is then destroyed, and each completed job is unlocked.

  • Publication number: 20220188775
Abstract: A computer implemented federated learning method of predicting failure of assets includes generating a local model at a local site for each of the cohorts and training the local model on local data for each of the cohorts for each failure type. The local model is shared with a central database. A global model is created based on an aggregation of a plurality of the local models from a plurality of the local sites. At each of the plurality of local sites, one of the global model and the local model is chosen for each of the cohorts. The chosen model operates on local data to predict failure of the assets. The utilized features include partitioning features of the assets into static features, semi-static features, and dynamic features, and forming cohorts of the assets based on the static features and the semi-static features.

  • Patent number: 11330985
Abstract: The present application describes techniques to image biological tissue to determine biological information of an imaged tissue sample such as changes in hemoglobin concentrations, blood flow rate (pulse), and/or spatio-temporal features. Embodiments include illuminating the tissue sample with light in the near-infrared (NIR) spectrum, which is minimally absorbed but scattered through the tissue sample. By detecting the NIR light that is attenuated through, transmitted through, and/or reflected off the tissue to be imaged, the resulting NIR intensity signals may be further analyzed to provide this data. Embodiments include using multiple NIR light sources having varying wavelengths to obtain changes in the oxy- and deoxy-hemoglobin concentrations of the imaged tissue region. The tissue sample may be imaged over a time period, and the NIR images may be viewed statically or in real time after post-processing analyses have been performed.

  • Patent number: 11296685
Abstract: A PWM modulator has a quantizer that generates a PWM output signal to speaker driver. When a first voltage swing range is supplied to the speaker driver, the quantizer analog gain is controlled to be a first gain value. When a second PWM drive voltage swing range is supplied to the speaker driver, the analog gain is controlled to be a second gain value. The first and second gain values of the analog gain of the quantizer cause the combined gain of the quantizer and driver to be approximately equal in the two modes. The quantizer has at least two gain-affecting measurable non-ideal characteristics. The quantizer is adjustable using measured first and second values to correct for first and second of the at least two non-ideal characteristics. The gain of the quantizer is calibratable while the quantizer is adjusted using the measured first and second measured values.
