  • Patent number: 12293202
Abstract: Techniques implemented by a launch wizard of a cloud computing system to enable developers to create new workloads that can be launched by the launch wizard in the cloud computing system. Launch wizards offer users with guided experiences for identifying and deploying resources needed to support workloads of applications running in cloud computing systems. However, it is difficult for developers to create new workloads for the launch wizard to support. This disclosure describes a development platform through which developers create new workloads for the launch wizard to launch on behalf of users. The development platform provides a console through which developers define new workloads using a metadata language, and dynamically generates and presents a provisioning form that describes the new workloads. Once developers have finished defining new workloads, the new workloads are registered with the launch wizard such that users can use the launch wizard to launch the new workloads.

  • Publication number: 20250138865
Abstract: Methods, system, and non-transitory processor-readable storage medium for a component development migration system are provided herein. An example method includes a reverse proxy server that receives a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) request from a client system. The reverse proxy server intercepts the HTTP request between the client system and a server. A listener module receives a digital footprint of the HTTP request, where the digital footprint identifies a feature associated with an enterprise application. The method determines a feature score associated with the feature, and an overall feature score using a weighted feature score and a weighted feature priority score. The method then migrates development of a component of the enterprise application to a second enterprise application according to the overall feature score.

  • Publication number: 20250108830
Abstract: The disclosure provides a solution for intelligent machines, such as autonomous vehicles (AVs), that incorporate operating laws into motion planning by expressing complex operating laws along with other planning criteria under a single framework referred to herein as universal planning criteria (UPC). The UPC is expressed using a rule hierarchy approach, which allows for expressing individual operating rules, such as traffic rules, as signal temporal logic (STL) rules that are assigned an importance order. The STL rule hierarchy is advantageously equipped with a scalar rank-preserving reward function that can be differentiable and can be explicitly used for motion planning and/or embedding in neural motion planners. In one aspect the disclosure provides a method of operating an AV that includes: (1) scalably expressing traffic laws and additional planning criteria in a UPC framework, and (2) generating, using a neural motion planner and the UPC framework, a planned trajectory for the AV.

  • Patent number: 12261237
Abstract: Photovoltaic devices with very high breakdown voltages are described herein. Typical commercial silicon photovoltaic devices have breakdown voltages below 50-100 volts (V). Even though such devices have bypass diodes to prevent photovoltaic cells from going into breakdown, the bypass diodes have high failure rates, leading to unreliable devices. A high-efficiency silicon photovoltaic cell is provided with very high breakdown voltages. By combining a device architecture with very low surface recombination and silicon wafers with high bulk resistivity (above 10 ohms centimeter (?-cm)), embodiments described herein achieve breakdown voltages close to 1000 V. These photovoltaic cells with high breakdown voltages improve the reliability of photovoltaic devices, while reducing their design complexity and cost.

  • Publication number: 20250071344
Abstract: Video decoding systems and techniques are described. The decoder applies a deblocking (DB) filter to the plurality of sub-blocks of a block of video data to generate a DB-filtered plurality of sub-blocks. The decoder applies the DB filter to one or more lines (e.g., columns) of pixels in an additional sub-block of the block to generate a DB-filtered portion of the additional sub-block. The one or more lines of pixels in the additional sub-block are filtered without filtering an entirety of the additional sub-block using the DB filter. The additional sub-block is adjacent to at least one of the plurality of sub-blocks. The decoder applies a constrained directional enhancement filter (CDEF) to the DB-filtered plurality of sub-blocks and the DB-filtered portion of the additional sub-block to generate a CDEF-filtered plurality of sub-blocks.

  • Publication number: 20250045575
Abstract: Pre-trained large language models may be trained on a large data set which may not necessarily align with specific tasks, business goals, and requirements. Pre-trained large language models can solve generic semantic relationship or question-answering type problems but may not be suited for content item retrieval or recommendation of content items that are semantically relevant to a query. It is possible to build a machine learning model while using transfer learning to learn from pre-trained large language models. Training data can significantly impact the performance of machine learning models, especially machine learning models developed using transfer learning. The training data can impact a model's performance, generalization, fairness, and adaptation to specific domains. To address some of these concerns, a popularity bucketing strategy can be implemented to debias training data. Optionally, an ensemble of models can be used to generate diverse training data.

  • Publication number: 20250033205
Abstract: One variation of a method for autonomously scanning and processing a part includes: accessing a part model representing a part positioned in a work zone adjacent a robotic system; retrieving a sanding head translation speed; retrieving a toolpath for execution on the part defining positions, orientations, and target forces applied by the sanding head to the part. The method includes traversing the sanding head along the toolpath, at the sanding head translation speed; reading a sequence of applied forces from a force sensor coupled to the sanding head at positions along the toolpath; and deviating from the toolpath to maintain the set of applied forces within a threshold difference of a sequence of target forces along the toolpath. In one variation of the method, the robotic system executes a toolpath at a duration less than target duration by selectively varying target force and sanding head translation speed across the part.

  • Publication number: 20250033206
Abstract: A method includes: accessing a toolpath and processing parameters—including a target force and feed rate—assigned to a region of a workpiece; and accessing a wear model representing abrasive degradation of a sanding pad arranged on a sanding head. The method also includes, during a processing cycle: accessing force values output by a force sensor 199 coupled to the sanding head; navigating the sanding head across the workpiece region according to the toolpath and, based on the force values deviating the sanding head from the toolpath to maintain forces of the sanding head on the workpiece region proximal the target force; accessing contact characteristics representing contact between the sanding pad and the workpiece; estimating abrasive degradation of the sanding pad based on the wear model and the sequence of contact characteristics; and modifying the set of processing parameters based on the abrasive degradation.

  • Publication number: 20250014087
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating an interface including variant item elements are disclosed. A request for an interface including a search query is received from a first device and a set of candidate items is generated by a first level search model based on the search query. The first level search model generates a baseline value for each item variant in an item catalog including a weighted combination of a relevance label value and an engagement label value. The set of candidate items is selected based on the baseline value. A set of search results is generated by a second level search model based on the set of candidate items. An interface including interface elements representative of one or more item variants in the set of search results is generated and transmitted to the first device.
