    Abstract: A system for detecting proximity of a conductive object to an antenna element is provided. The system includes a cover layer including a thin film resistive element and cover glass, an antenna layer including an antenna element, and a dielectric gap layer including an electrically insulating material. The antenna element is configured to transmit a signal. The thin film resistive element includes a material having greater conductivity than the cover glass and is configured to detectably capacitively couple with the conductive object when the conductive object is within proximity of the thin film resistive element. The dielectric gap layer is positioned between the cover layer and the antenna layer and electrically insulates the antenna element from the thin film resistive element.

The rear cover is removable. The rear cover has flexural rigidity. The rear cover includes: a cover layer that is RF-transparent and a functional layer that is disposed beneath the cover layer. The functional layer includes a plurality of electrical connections. The functional layer is laminated to the cover layer. At least one electrical connection of the plurality of electrical connections is connected to the electronic components disposed in the chassis. The functional layer is structured such that inclusion of the functional layer in the rear cover provides a majority of the flexural rigidity of the rear cover.

The set of payment frequency bucket features assigns a customer to be one of: a weekly payer, alternative weekly payer, a monthly payer, a bi-monthly, a quarterly payer, a half yearly payer and an annual payer. The method further includes the generation of a set of payment pattern features based on the set of payment frequency bucket features of the cluster. Further, the method includes selection of an optimal pattern with highest probability of adherence.
