  • Publication number: 20230355177
Abstract: In neonates or infants, the system identifies Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) and in adult patients the system monitors for and identifies withdrawal and/or relapse symptoms. The system can be used for NAS babies in hospitals as well as in the home for adults. The system obtains biosensor or behavioral information about a patient from a wearable device on the patient and makes a determinative recommendation based on algorithm driven calculations and takes appropriate action based on its evaluation. The biosensor and behavioral information are collected by way of a wearable device, high precision cameras, muti pitch microphones over progressive periods of time. When the data is indicative of a need for treatment because the patient is exhibiting symptoms or indicating relapse traits, this information is sent to the system where an AI module further predicts and recommends a delivery of treatment for the patient.

  • Publication number: 20210015550
Abstract: An apparatus includes a catheter assembly having a catheter with a catheter body and an end effector connected with a distal end of the catheter. The catheter assembly optionally includes an outer sheath or introducer tool. The end effector includes a spine assembly having a plurality of spines. An electrode is associated with each spine of the spine assembly. The electrodes are longitudinally staggered along their respective spines. The spines extend outward from a longitudinal axis of the catheter body such that the spine define a circular arrangement. This arrangement with the longitudinally spaced electrodes defines a helical array such that an elongated circumferential ablation pattern is achieved.

  • Patent number: 10849521
Abstract: A catheter is provided with improved position and/or location sensing with the use of single axis sensors that are mounted directly along a length or portion of the catheter whose position/location is of interest. The magnetic based, single axis sensors are provided on a single axis sensor (SAS) assembly, which can be linear or nonlinear as needed. A catheter of the present invention thus includes a catheter body and a distal member of a particular 2D or 3D configuration that is provided by a support member on which at least one, if not at least three single axis sensors, are mounted serially along a length of the support member. In one embodiment, the magnetic-based sensor assembly including at least one coil member that is wrapped on the support member, wherein the coil member is connected via a joint region to a respective cable member adapted to transmit a signal providing location information from the coil member to a mapping and localization system.
