  • Publication number: 20240103751
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for garbage collection for object-based storage systems. A first set of objects stored by an object storage service that have been accessed within a previously defined date range is identified. Then, a second set of objects stored by the object storage service is identified based at least in part on a relationship to one or more objects in the first set of objects. Next, a third set of objects stored by the object storage service that have been created prior to a predefined date is identified. Then, a subset of objects which are members of the third set of objects and not members of the first set of objects or the second set of objects is identified. Finally, a retention action is performed on individual members of the subset of objects based at least in part on a retention policy.

  • Publication number: 20220316933
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to wastewater management that provides method and system for monitoring sewer manhole from a remote location. Sewer monitoring system configured in a sewer manhole receives measured values from level sensor and determines accuracy error in the measured values for different conditions. Thereafter, sewer monitoring system resolves the accuracy error in the measured values to obtain accurate measured values by either measuring level of wastewater in the sewer manhole by setting first range limit for the measured values dynamically based on actual depth of sewer manhole, or iteratively measuring level of wastewater in the sewer manhole by setting unique second range limit for the measured values dynamically. Finally, a risk associated with the sewer manhole based on the accurate measured values of the level sensor is determined, for monitoring the sewer manhole from a remote location.

  • Patent number: 10749737
Abstract: Disclosed is an interoperability gateway system that provides backup connection between a dispatch center and a Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system in the event the dispatch center is disconnected from the LMR system. In general, this may be accomplished by providing an RF link between the disconnected site and the interoperability gateway via a controller, or interoperability site network interface (ISNI), that is activated when the dispatch center is disconnected from the LMR system. The interoperability gateway provides the backup connection by allocating a control station for each channel available at the disconnected LMR system. When compared to conventional dispatch console backup schemes, the disclosed interoperability gateway system greatly reduces the equipment needed to provide dispatch console backup, thereby decreasing equipment and operation costs, and simplifying operation by providing a solution that is virtually transparent to the dispatcher.

  • Patent number: 10548108
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and a method for providing mobility management and out-of-coverage indication in a conventional Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system. A radio provides its location and user group data to the disclosed system through its traffic channel when the channel is idle. Knowledge of the radio's current location and user group data is used to provide dynamic call routing and data management within the disclosed system. The disclosed system and method may provide operability similar to that of a trunking system by providing mobility management and out-of-coverage indication while providing low-cost benefits through operation of a conventional system.
