  • Publication number: 20170344890
Abstract: System pre-processes and computes class distribution of decision attribute and statistics for discretization of continuous attributes through use of compute buckets. System computes the variability of each of the attributes and considers only the non-zero variability attributes. System computes the discernibility strength of each attribute. The software system generates size 1 patterns using compute bucket and calculates if each pattern of size 1 is a reliable pattern for any class. The system calculates if reliable pattern of size 1 is a significant pattern for any class. The system generates size k patterns from size k?1 patterns checking for significance of size k patterns and refinability. The system readjusts pattern statistics for only significant patterns for size k?1 patterns. The system computes a cumulative coverage of the sorted relevant patterns of up to size k by finding out the union of records of that particular class.

  • Patent number: 9820968
Abstract: The present invention provides the compound Ormeloxifene [3, 4-trans-2,2-dimethyl-3-phenyl-4-p-(beta-pyrrolidinoethoxy) phenyl-7-methoxy chroman] as useful in inducing differentiation in wide range of myeloid leukemias including acute promyelocytic leukemia, acute myeloid leukemia and chronic myeloid leukemia where block in differentiation is common feature. Ormeloxifene induced differentiation that is marked by increase in differentiation marker proteins like C/EBP? and surface proteins such as cd11b and granulocyte colony stimulating factor receptor (GCSFr). Differentiated cells having neutrophil like morphology were observed when treated with 1.0 uM to 7.5 uM ORM which clearly indicates that ORM can induce differentiation in myeloid leukemia cells. At higher doses (5 uM to 7.5 uM) there is early onset of myeloid differentiation (24 to 48 h) with reduced no. of cells which is likely due to apoptotic effects of ORM at higher does.

  • Publication number: 20170328251
Abstract: An aftertreatment system comprises an aftertreatment component structured to decompose constituents of an exhaust gas produced by an engine. A reductant insertion assembly is fluidly coupled to the aftertreatment component and configured to insert a reductant therein. A controller is operatively coupled to the reductant insertion assembly and configured to instruct the reductant insertion assembly to insert the reductant into the aftertreatment component for a first insertion time between first time intervals. The controller determines an operating condition of the engine, and determines if the operating condition satisfies a predetermined condition. In response to the predetermined condition being satisfied, the controller instructs the reductant insertion assembly to insert the reductant into the aftertreatment component for a second insertion time between second time intervals. The second insertion time is longer than the first insertion time.
