  • Patent number: 11651493
Abstract: Methods and systems for crowd level estimation are provided. The system includes a plurality of performance modeling modules (206), an input module (202) and a crowd estimation technique integration module. The plurality of performance modeling modules (206) performance model each of a plurality of crowd estimation techniques based on an accuracy thereof at different crowd levels and/or at different locations. The input module (202) receives an image of a crowd. The crowd estimation technique integration module (208) selects one or more of the plurality of crowd estimation techniques in response to the performance modeling of the one or more of the plurality of crowd estimation techniques and an estimated crowd level and/or an estimated location. The crowd estimation technique integration module (208) then estimates a crowd count of the crowd in the received image in accordance with the selected one or more of the plurality of crowd estimation techniques.

  • Patent number: 11644390
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for contextual data analysis and proactive intervention in industrial plant processes. Each of multiple data streams in an industrial plant are mapped to a common hierarchical data structure, wherein the data streams correspond to respective values or states associated with unit operations, assets, and process streams in the plant. The mapped data streams define hierarchical process relationships between subsets of the unit operations, assets, and process streams. Real-time data is collected to populate at least one level of the hierarchical data structure for certain data streams, wherein future outcomes are predicted for downstream operations based on the collected real-time data for at least one data stream, and at least one other data stream having a defined hierarchical process relationship therewith.

  • Patent number: 11639077
Abstract: A tire includes a pair of sidewalls extending from a respective bead area to a tread. The tread is formed with a plurality of tread elements and a radially outer surface. A sensor unit is mounted to the tire and includes a pair of electrical contacts. The tread wear sensor plug includes a cylindrical projection extending through an opening formed in one of the tread elements, a flange, and a wire including proximal ends disposed in the flange and a distal end near a radially outer surface of the projection. An electrical circuit is formed by each proximal end of the wire electrically contacting a respective one of the sensor unit electrical contacts. When the tread element and the cylindrical projection wear down to the distal end of the wire, the wire and the circuit break. A notice is transmitted by the sensor unit when the circuit breaks.

  • Publication number: 20230110776
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for bringing a volume of a consistency group (CG) into an in-synchronization (InSync) state while other volumes of the CG remain in the InSync state. According to an example, in order to support recovery from disruptive events in a manner that ensures a zero recovery point objective (RPO) guarantee and insulates an application making use of the CG from adverse impacts, responsive to a triggering event, a Fast Resync process may first be attempted to promptly bring an affected volume back into an in-synchronization (InSync) state from an out of synchronization (OOS) state while allowing other members of the CG to remain in the InSync state. Should the Fast resync process be unsuccessful in bringing the volume back into the InSync state within a predetermined or configurable time threshold, then a second type of resynchronization process may be employed at the CG level.

  • Patent number: 11620483
Abstract: A model is trained to create a probability distribution of counts based on counts of distinct values stored by person profiles in a field. The model is trained to create another probability distribution of counts based on other counts of other distinct values stored by the person profiles in another field. The count of distinct values stored by a person profile in the field is identified. Another count of distinct values stored by the person profile in the other field is identified. A score is determined based on a cumulative distribution function of the count under the probability distribution of counts. Another score is determined based on the cumulative distribution function of the other count under the other probability distribution of counts. If the score and the other score combine in an overall score that satisfies a threshold, a message is output about the person profile being suspected of corruption.

  • Patent number: 11615176
Abstract: Conventionally, biometric template protection has been achieved to improve matching performance with high levels of security by use of deep convolution neural network models. However, such attempts have prominent security limitations mapping information of images to binary codes is stored in an unprotected form. Given this model and access to the stolen protected templates, the adversary can exploit the False Accept Rate (FAR) of the system. Secondly, once the server system is compromised all the users need to be re-enrolled again. Unlike conventional systems and approaches, present disclosure provides systems and methods that implement encrypted deep neural network(s) for biometric template protection for enrollment and verification wherein the encrypted deep neural network(s) is utilized for mapping feature vectors to a randomly generated binary code and a deep neural network model learnt is encrypted thus achieving security and privacy for data protection.
