  • Publication number: 20240095230
Abstract: Aspects of data management are described. Information for updating a cluster of storage nodes to a second version may be obtained. Based on obtaining the information, a cluster-level precheck procedure may be performed prior to initiating an update procedure for the cluster of storage nodes. Also, during the update procedure, a node-level precheck procedure may be performed prior to initiating an update of a storage node to determine whether the storage node is in a state for successful update. Based on a result of the node-level precheck, a determination of whether to delay the update of the storage node may be made.

  • Patent number: 11934700
Abstract: Aspects of a storage device are provided that handle pairing and atomic processing of fused commands received from submission queues based on data structures such as a linked lists which the controller respectively associates with each submission queue. A memory of the storage device includes a plurality of data structures each associated with a different submission queue. A controller of the storage device receives a first command for a fused operation from a submission queue, stores the first command in a data structure, receives a second command for the fused operation from the submission queue, determines whether the second command corresponds to the fused operation, stores the second command in the data structure in response to the determination, and performs the fused operation in response to storing the second command. As a result, fused command handling may be achieved with minimal impact to queue arbitration logic and command latency.

  • Patent number: 11934444
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to synchronized sharing of playlists from a source client device to a listening client device. To facilitate synchronized sharing, a current playlist of one or more tracks of digital content is obtained from the source client device. A current playback location within the currently playing playlist is also obtained from the source client device. A shared queue accessible by the listener client device is generated. Further, a shared queue context for the listener client device is identified based in part upon the current playback location. This enables the listener client device to start playback synchronized with the source client device.

  • Patent number: 11934343
Abstract: Disclosed is a data processing system to receive a processing graph of an application. A compile time logic is configured to modify the processing graph and generate a modified processing graph. The modified processing graph is configured to apply a post-padding tiling after applying a cumulative input padding that confines padding to an input. The cumulative input padding pads the input into a padded input. The post-padding tiling tiles the padded input into a set of pre-padded input tiles with a same tile size, tiles intermediate representation of the input into a set of intermediate tiles with a same tile size, and tiles output representation of the input into a set of non-overlapping output tiles with a same tile size. Runtime logic is configured with the compile time logic to execute the modified processing graph to execute the application.

  • Patent number: 11932581
Abstract: Foams and methods of fabricating and using the same are provided. The foams can be three-dimensional (3D), free-standing, and/or rigid and can be used as, for example, nanofiller networks. The shape and size of the foam pore interconnected network can be tailorable/tailored. The foams can be, for example, hybrid one-dimensional (1D)/two-dimensional (2D) foams of 1D and 2D materials (e.g., hybrid boron nitride nanotube (BNNT)/boron nitride nanoplatelet (BNNP) foams). A freeze-drying-based method can be used to fabricate bulk porous foam, which can be used for, e.g., nanofiller for polymer nanocomposites.

  • Publication number: 20240083029
Abstract: A controller for controlling an operation of a robot to execute a task is provided. The controller comprises a memory configured to store a set of dynamic movement primitives (DMPs) associated with the task. The set of DMPs comprise a set of at least two dynamical systems: a function representing point attractor dynamics and a forcing function corresponding to a learned demonstration of the task. The controller comprises a processor configured to transform the set of DMPs to a set of constrained DMPs (CDMPs) by determining a perturbation function associated with the forcing function. The perturbation function is associated with a set of operational constraints. The processor is further configured to solve, a non-linear optimization problem for the set of CDMPs based on the set of operational constraints and generate, a control input for controlling the robot for executing the task, based on the solution.

  • Publication number: 20240086173
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a distributed autonomous patching system. During patching of a cloud computing architecture, an autonomous patching system may operator autonomously with no to minimal operator input to patch the host machines and corresponding computes of the cloud computing architecture's available applications. This may work by receiving a patch and determining corresponding patching factors for an availability zone of computes in the cloud. The system may then determine a patching topology map having an order of patching nodes for the selected computes of the application in the availability zone. Thereafter, while monitoring those computes, the system may select certain computes into an active processing funnel, where the patch is applied to those computes. Fingerprinting of before and after-patch states may be used to ensure proper patching.

  • Publication number: 20240086285
Abstract: A data management system may support a configuration backup of a first backup system that manages backup procedures for data of a host environment that is separate from the first backup system. The data management system may transmit, to the first backup system, a request to generate the configuration backup that includes information for the one or more backup procedures managed by the first backup system. The data management system may cause the configuration backup to be stored in a separate storage location. In response to first backup system failure, the data management system may transmit, to a second backup system, a request to apply one or more configurations for the first backup system to the second backup system based on the stored configuration backup for the first backup system.
