Abstract: A system for optimizing labor resources at a facility. The system includes a memory configured to store a first optimization model and a second optimization model. Where the first optimization model, when executed by a control circuit, determines optimal shift patterns for full-time employee schedules and fixed part-time employee schedules over a period of time. Where the second optimization model, when executed by the control circuit, determines headcounts and variable part-time shifts. The system further includes an electronic device configured to execute an application stored in a local memory of the electronic device, the application when executed causes the control circuit to output one or more staffing recommendation levels displayable on the electronic device.

  • Patent number: 12254432
Abstract: A method of automating a workflow may include obtaining a completeness graph including conditions applied to attributes of an entity, determining that a missing attribute subset of the attributes lacks a corresponding value, determining that a condition corresponding to a missing attribute of the missing attribute subset is satisfied, and obtaining a value for the missing attribute. The value may be a result of performing a task in the workflow. The method may further include modifying a state of the entity by assigning the value to the missing attribute to obtain a modified state of the entity.

  • Patent number: 12247459
Abstract: A technique facilitates actuation of a downhole device, such as an isolation valve. According to an embodiment, the downhole device may be in the form of an isolation valve member, e.g. a ball valve element, actuated between positions by a mechanical section which may comprise a shifting linkage. Actuation of the mechanical section, and thus actuation of the isolation valve member, is achieved by a trip saver section controlled according to a pressure signature which may be applied from a suitable location, e.g. from the surface. The trip saver section comprises a housing having an internal actuation piston coupled with the mechanical section. The trip saver section further comprises a pilot piston and a plurality of chambers formed in a wall of the housing and arranged to enable shifting of the actuation piston in response to a predetermined series of pressure pulses or other suitable pressure signature.
