  • Publication number: 20210388694
Abstract: An isolation valve system includes a well string having an isolation valve including a ball rotatably mounted to a pair of inserts for rotation about a fixed axis, an arm coupled to the ball at a position offset from the fixed axis, and a mandrel connected to an actuation end of the arm, the mandrel and the actuation end of the arm being disposed uphole of the ball. Via the actuation end of the arm, the mandrel forces rotation of the ball from a closed position to an open position by moving in a linear direction away from the ball, which allows flow of fluid along a through hole of the ball.

  • Patent number: 11176196
Abstract: In some implementations, a computing device may perform a method for providing a unified pipeline for media metadata to converge disparate schemas and data structures into a global unified graph. The method includes receiving media metadata from disparate media sources that may each have a different metadata schema that defines the structure and attributes of the metadata provided by each media source. The computing device may compare media metadata received from the different media sources to determine that metadata received from the different media sources correspond to similar, or the same, media entities (e.g., songs, movies, books, etc.). The metadata for the similar media entities may then be combined into a global unified graph that may include metadata attributes and/or values of the metadata received from the various media sources.

  • Patent number: 11164312
Abstract: A system associated with quantifying a density level of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, based on prediction of reconstructed TIL information associated with tumoral tissue image data during pathology analysis of the tissue image data is disclosed. The system receives digitized diagnostic and stained whole-slide image data related to tissue of a particular type of tumoral data. Defined are regions of interest that represents a portion of, or a full image of the whole-slide image data. The image data is encoded into segmented data portions based on convolutional autoencoding of objects associated with the collection of image data. The density of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes is determined of bounded segmented data portions for respective classification of the regions of interest. A classification label is assigned to the regions of interest. It is determined whether an assigned classification label is above a pre-determined threshold probability value of lymphocyte infiltrated.

  • Patent number: 11108973
Abstract: Presented here is a system and method to record images having varying zoom levels using a lens having a substantially fixed zoom level. The resulting image can have varying zoom levels and can be of high quality. The light sensor recording the image can have a resolution higher than the desired resolution of the resulting image. The high resolution of the light sensor allows digital zooming, i.e., cropping of the image. The light sensor can operate in two modes, where each mode produces varying resolutions of the resulting image. Operating the light sensor in the mode producing a high resolution of the resulting image, however, does not produce images of satisfactory quality in low light conditions, and the light sensor may need to be switched between the first and the second mode depending on the zoom level and the lighting conditions.

  • Patent number: 11012477
Abstract: Communications methods, apparatus and systems for detecting a status condition indicative of a failure of a media processing entity and providing media redirection to increase media resource function availability. One embodiment of the present invention is a method that includes directing, by a first Session Border Controller (SBC), a first media call flow of a first call through a first media content processing entity to a second SBC, detecting, at one of said first or second SBCs, a status condition indicative of a failure condition for the first media content processing entity, and redirecting, by the SBC that detects the status condition indicative of a failure condition, the first media call flow for the first call so that the first media call flow passes through a second media content processing entity instead of through the first media content processing entity without terminating the first call.

  • Patent number: 10944680
Abstract: The present invention relates to communications methods, apparatus and systems for collecting metrics and/or traffic routing using SDN principles. In an exemplary method embodiment, the method includes the steps of: operating a SBC to: (i) receive a session initiation signal used to initiate a first media session; (ii) send to an SDN controller session identification information identifying a first RTCP packet stream corresponding to the first media session and causing said SDN controller to control a first open flow switch to establish an entry in a table to cause the first open flow switch to send a copy of the RTCP packets corresponding to the first RTCP packet stream to the SBC while also communicating the RTCP packets corresponding to the first RTCP packet stream towards the intended first RTCP packet stream destination.

  • Patent number: 10902427
Abstract: Systems and methods of improving the operation of a transaction network and transaction network devices is disclosed. A transaction network host may comprise various modules and engines as discussed herein wherein the probability that a transaction is a business or personal transaction may be evaluated for establishing proper usage of differentiated transaction instruments according to their proper purposes. For instance, a probable personal transaction may be identified as being associated with a business-oriented transaction card, whereby the transaction network may tailor the handling of the transaction, such as by denying it, whereby the transaction network may actively deter misuse of transaction products whereby the transaction network more properly functions according to approved parameters.

  • Patent number: 10783170
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for assigning a geographical location to a photograph of a landscape. A geographic location tag is calculated from raw sensor data and a three-dimensional terrain map that corresponds to the landscape in the photograph. One technique includes calculating a two-dimensional ideal view projection of a camera used to take the landscape photograph based at least in part on a geographic location of the camera when the landscape photograph was taken and a field of view of the camera when the landscape photograph was taken. At least one of the topographical features visible from the camera based on the two-dimensional ideal view projection is selected from a three-dimensional terrain map representing a plurality of topographical features within a geographic region. At least one geographic location tag representing at least one of the selected topographical features is assigned to the landscape photograph.
