  • Publication number: 20220013155
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods include technology that identifies whether a product of first and second digital numbers is associated with a positive value or a negative value. During a first clock phase, the technology sets a first reference voltage to have a first value or a second value based on whether the product is associated with the positive value or the negative value. During the first clock phase, the technology controls switches to supply the first reference voltage to first plates of capacitors. Each of the capacitors includes a respective first plate of the first plates and a second plate. Further, during the first clock phase, the technology controls the switches based on the first digital number to electrically connect at least one of the second plates to the first reference voltage and electrically connect at least one of the second plates to a second reference voltage.

  • Publication number: 20220012020
Abstract: A synthesis procedure learns program transformations for a text document, on-the-fly during an edit session, from examples of concrete edits made during the edit session and from an unsupervised set of additional inputs. The additional inputs are derived from explicit feedback from the user and inferred feedback from the user's behavior during the edit session. A reward score, based on anti-unification and provenance analysis, is used to classify the additional inputs as either a positive input or a negative input. Outputs are generated for the positive inputs that are consistent with the existing examples and then used to synthesize a new program transformation. The program transformations are then used to generate code edit suggestions during the edit session.

  • Patent number: 11222256
Abstract: At least one neural network accelerator performs operations of a first subset of layers of a neural network on an input data set, generates an intermediate data set, and stores the intermediate data set in a shared memory queue in a shared memory. A first processor element of a host computer system provides input data to the neural network accelerator and signals the neural network accelerator to perform the operations of the first subset of layers of the neural network on the input data set. A second processor element of the host computer system reads the intermediate data set from the shared memory queue, performs operations of a second subset of layers of the neural network on the intermediate data set, and generates an output data set while the neural network accelerator is performing the operations of the first subset of layers of the neural network on another input data set.

  • Patent number: 11223871
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for automatically navigating a graphical user interface (GUI) of a media device. In embodiments, objects (e.g. selectable items) in device GUI menu screens may be located, identified, and selected by another device (e.g., a switch) using several types of image processing, image recognition, and automated screen navigation techniques. For instance, a device may receive an operation request, for example from a user, receive a video signal from the connected media device, extract a video frame, process the video frame using one or more algorithms, and automatically navigate the GUI of the device by transmitting one more navigation commands for application to the GUI. In this manner, multi-step, time-consuming manual GUI navigation to achieve a desired result may be reduced to an automated technique, allowing users to save time and frustration in navigating a GUI using a remote control to find a particular resource.

  • Patent number: 11222670
Abstract: Various implementations described herein are directed to an implementation of a higher order multiplexer using lower order multiplexers. In an embodiment, the implementation requires a slight modification to the existing circuitry design of the lower multiplexers. A plurality of multiplexers may be coupled with each other such that a common input port and output port is formed. Using an enable signal, only one of the coupled multiplexers may be enabled at a time while the remaining multiplexers are switched off. Therefore, upon receiving a select signal indicating an address of a memory cell, the lower multiplexers coupled together function as a higher order multiplexer in selecting the appropriate column corresponding to the memory cell.

  • Patent number: 11223964
Abstract: A dynamic temperature manager of a wireless system determines a threshold temperature defined by one or more operating parameters of the wireless system, the threshold temperature indicating a temperature in response to which power consumption of the wireless system is to be reduced. The dynamic temperature manager receives an indication of a temperature of the wireless system. A determination is made that the temperature exceeds the threshold temperature. The dynamic temperature manager provides an indication to cause a media access control (MAC) processing circuitry of the wireless system to adjust the one or more operating parameters of the wireless system to reduce the power consumption and the temperature of the wireless system based on the determination that the temperature exceeds the threshold temperature.

  • Publication number: 20220004336
Abstract: A memory device includes logic to detect the last page written in multi-plane non-volatile memory. The device includes a memory array, and a storage controller. The memory array includes multiple planes and multiple word lines operable on the memory array. The storage controller is configured to divide the word lines into contiguous sub-ranges and assign a subset of the word lines to boundaries of the sub-ranges. Each word line of the subset of word lines is assigned to a page in a different one of the memory planes. The controller operates the subset of word lines to sense a page programmed or erased state from each of the memory planes in parallel.
