  • Publication number: 20200308378
Abstract: Disclosed are ethylene polymer compositions containing a homogeneously-branched first ethylene polymer component and 15-35 wt. % of a homogeneously-branched second ethylene polymer component of higher density than the first ethylene polymer component. The ethylene polymer composition can be characterized by a density from 0.912 to 0.925 g/cm3, a ratio of Mw/Mn from 2 to 5, a melt index less than 2 g/10 min, and a CY-a parameter at 190 ° C. from 0.35 to 0.7. These polymer compositions have the excellent dart impact strength and optical properties of a metallocene-catalyzed LLDPE, but with improved machine direction tear resistance, and can be used in blown film and other end-use applications. Further, methods for improving film Elmendorf tear strength also are described.

  • Publication number: 20200310746
Abstract: Audio based transactions are getting more popular and are envisaged to become common in years to come. With the rise in data protection regulations, muting portions of the audio files is necessary to hide sensitive information from an eavesdropper or accidental hearing by an entity who gets unauthorized access to these audio files. However, it is realized that deleted transaction information in a muted audio files make audit of the transaction challenging and impossible. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods of muting audio information in multimedia files and retrieval thereof which is masked and further allows for reconstruction of the original audio conversation or restoration Private to an Entity (P2aE) information without original audio reconstruction when auditing is being exercised.

  • Publication number: 20200312978
Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms for providing electrical insulation or other protection of an integrated circuit (IC) device with a spacer structure which comprises an (anti)ferromagnetic material. In an embodiment, a transistor comprises doped source or drain regions and a channel region which are each disposed in a fin structure, wherein a gate electrode and an underlying dielectric layer of the transistor each extend over the channel region. Insulation spacers are disposed on opposite sides of the gate electrode, where at least a portion of one such insulation spacer comprises an (anti)ferroelectric material. Another portion of the insulation spacer comprises a non-(anti)ferroelectric material. In another embodiment, the two portions of the spacer are offset vertically from one another, wherein the (anti)ferroelectric portion forms a bottom of the spacer.

  • Patent number: 10789552
Abstract: Generating distractors for text-based MCT items. An MCT item stem is received. The stem is transmitted to a QA system and a plurality of candidate answers related to the stem is received from the QA system. Incorrect answers in the plurality of candidate answers are identified. Textual features are extracted from the stem. A set of semantic criteria associated with the extracted textual features is generated. Based on the generated semantic criteria, a subset of the incorrect candidate answers is selected.

  • Patent number: 10790482
Abstract: An lithium-iodine electrochemical cell and method of making is described. The cell comprises a lithium anode and a cathode of a charge transfer complex which includes iodine and preferably polyvinylpyridine. The iodine-containing cathode is in operative contact with both the anode the cell casing serving as the cathode current collector. Preferably the casing is composed of stainless steel that has been thermally annealed at temperatures of 1,800° F. or less. The annealed stainless steel has a grain size of about ASTM 7 or finer. When the iodine-containing cathode material in liquid form is filled into the casing, it contacts the inner casing surface. The passivation layer that subsequently forms at the contact interface affects cell impedance during discharge. It is desirable to maintain the internal impedance as low as possible.

  • Patent number: 10789533
Abstract: Technology for generating a consistently labeled training dataset. For each one of multiple previously labeled texts, a distance between the previously labeled text and a current text to be labeled is generated by comparing a list of tokens for the previously labeled text to a list of tokens for the current text to determine an overlap value equal to a number of tokens that match between the list of tokens for the previously labeled text and the list of tokens for the current text, and using the overlap value to calculate a distance between the previously labeled text and the current text that is inversely correlated to the overlap value. Previously labeled texts that are most similar to the current text are identified as those previously labeled texts having the shortest distances to the current text, and are displayed with their previously assigned labels in a label selection user interface.

  • Publication number: 20200299120
Abstract: A system and method for filling containers with a precise amount of fluid is disclosed. The system and method use artificial neural network logic to sense conditions and to control the two-valve dispensing unit based on the sensed conditions to fill containers with a precise amount of fluid. Using neural network logic combined with sensors and controllers for equipment eliminates the significant human effort and human errors associated with manually filling containers with fluid. Furthermore, the neural network can log data quicker and with more accuracy than a human manually logging data. The system and method use a two-valve dispensing unit to precisely fill and to prevent and clear clogs caused by fluid solidifying within the dispensing unit.
