  • Patent number: 12035017
Abstract: Systems and methods for a computer-based process that determines content display preferences of nearby detected devices, and transmits content tracks to those devices according to their individual preferences. For example, language preferences are determined from nearby devices, and content is played with corresponding language tracks sent to each device. In this manner, different tracks of content may be sent to different devices according to each device's preferences, so that individualized or personalized versions of content may be played for each different device. Thus, for instance, content may be played with different language tracks, where each track is selected to conform to the preferences of each different device. Accordingly, content may be played with different users or viewers experiencing the content in their preferred language. Embodiments of the disclosure also contemplate any other settings and preferences besides language.

  • Patent number: 12031022
Abstract: Disclosed herein are ethylene-based polymers generally characterized by a melt index of less than 15 g/10 min, a density from 0.91 to 0.945 g/cm3, a CY-a parameter at 190° C. from 0.2 to 0.6, an average number of long chain branches per 1,000,000 total carbon atoms of the polymer in a molecular weight range of 500,000 to 2,000,000 g/mol of less than 5, and a maximum ratio of ?E/3? at an extensional rate of 0.03 sec?1 in a range from 3 to 15. The ethylene polymers have substantially no long chain branching in the high molecular weight fraction of the polymer, but instead have significant long chain branching in the lower molecular weight fraction, such that polymer melt strength and bubble stability are maintained for the fabrication of blown films and other articles of manufacture.

  • Patent number: 12035234
Abstract: Techniques for increasing the security and reliability of frame transmission are described. In an example, a network access device transmits a first frame indicating that a protected frame is to be used for a power mode change. The network access device receives a second frame that includes an identifier of a device and a change to a power mode of the device. The network access device determines whether the second frame is protected. In addition, the network access device determines whether data received for the device is to be stored prior to transmission to the device based at least in part on whether the second frame is protected.

  • Publication number: 20240219547
Abstract: A radar system includes a receiver, a processor, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing machine instructions. The machine instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive, within a communication frame, radar metadata including information indicative of sensing time slots within the communication frame. During the sensing time slots, the processor causes the receiver to obtain a set of radar reflections off of an object in an environment and determines, based on the set of received radar reflections and the radar metadata, at least one of a distance between the object and the radar system, a velocity of the object, and an angle of arrival for the object. In some implementations, the radar system is a first radar system, and the set of radar reflections are radar signals transmitted by a second radar system and reflected off of the object in the environment.

  • Publication number: 20240219905
Abstract: Autonomous vehicles may encounter situations prompting the autonomous vehicle to execute a stopping maneuver, or receive user input from a passenger of the autonomous vehicle that may cause the autonomous vehicle to execute a stopping maneuver (that is not part of nominal planning of the present mission of the autonomous vehicle). In some cases, the autonomous vehicle's mission may be interrupted. Such situations and user input may be diverse. Also, there may be many kinds of stopping maneuvers that the autonomous vehicle can execute in response to the situation or user input. Monitoring for the situations and user input, managing mission interruptions, and performing continuation of a mission can be non-trivial tasks to perform gracefully and effectively.
