  • Patent number: 7193688
Abstract: An image forming device includes a printer engine, a display unit, and a sound reproducing unit. The image forming device receives a list of contents from a content distributing device, and has the display unit display the content list. From the content list displayed by the display unit, a user of the image forming device selects a print content, a display content, and a sound content that he desires, associates the selected contents with one another to produce a group of the selected contents, and requests the content distributing device to distribute the group of the selected contents. The content distributing device produces the group of contents associated with one another, and distributes the group of contents to the image forming device. The image forming device expands the print content in the distributed content group into print data, and has the printer engine print the print data.

  • Publication number: 20060263576
Abstract: The invention provides a manufacturing method of a circular thin film transistor of which shape is more controlled than the conventional case, while simplifying the steps and reducing the manufacturing time and cost by forming a circular thin film transistor by a maskless process such as a droplet discharge method. In the invention, a circular thin film transistor having a circular electrode is formed by stacking concentric circular thin films over a substrate by a maskless process such as a droplet discharge method. Moreover, a circular thin film transistor having a circular semiconductor layer may be formed by stacking concentric circular thin films over a substrate by a maskless process such as a droplet discharge method.

  • Publication number: 20060261253
Abstract: It is an object to provide a photoelectric conversion device which detects light ranging from weak light to strong light. The present invention relates to a photoelectric conversion device having a photodiode having a photoelectric conversion layer, an amplifier circuit including a thin film transistor and a bias switching means, where a bias which is connected to the photodiode and the amplifier circuit is switched by the bias switching means when intensity of incident light exceeds predetermined intensity, and accordingly, light which is less than the predetermined intensity is detected by the photodiode and light which is more than the predetermined intensity is detected by the thin film transistor of the amplifier circuit. By the present invention, light ranging from weak light to strong light can be detected.

  • Patent number: 7035463
Abstract: A document image processing device and method for extracting a title region and a mark attached by the user from a document image to use them as document tag information. A region with a region average character size larger then a predetermine extraction judging value is extracted as a title region by title region extracting means. As a result, title regions can be extracted from one document image. A mark that the user makes on an input image is extracted by mark extracting means, and characteristic value of the mark is found by calculating means. Document tag information to be imparted to the input image is selected from reference tag information according to the characteristic value and the attribute value of the reference tag information imparting means. Thus, document tag information is automatically imparted to a document image.
