  • Publication number: 20140051219
Abstract: In an LCD driver, in a high voltage resistant MISFET, end portions of a gate electrode run onto electric field relaxing insulation regions. Wires to become source wires or drain wires are formed on an interlayer insulation film of the first layer over the high voltage resistant MISFET. At this moment, when a distance from an interface between a semiconductor substrate and a gate insulation film to an upper portion of the gate electrode is defined as “a”, and a distance from the upper portion of the gate electrode to an upper portion of the interlayer insulation film on which the wires are formed is defined as “b”, a relation of a>b is established. In such a high voltage resistant MISFET structured in this manner, the wires are arranged so as not to be overlapped planarly with the gate electrode of the high voltage resistant MISFET.

  • Patent number: 8556048
Abstract: A piston connected with a piston rod is fitted in a cylinder having a hydraulic fluid sealed therein. A damping force is generated through extension and compression disk valves and an orifice. Vehicle height adjustment is performed with a self-leveling mechanism by transferring the hydraulic fluid between the cylinder and a hydraulic fluid tank. A bladder of the hydraulic fluid tank is clamped between an outer flange portion of a partition member and a casing. Because the hydraulic fluid tank is formed without welding, it is possible to avoid contamination of the hydraulic fluid by welding sputter and thermal deformation. Provision of an O-ring on the outer flange portion can reduce the pressure acting from a reservoir on the clamped portion of the bladder and hence prevent dislodging of the bladder.

  • Publication number: 20130250099
Abstract: To eliminate influence of undesirable light component from an object when measuring optical characteristics such as shape and wavefront aberration of the object, light from light source (101) is separated by polarization beam splitter (103) into measuring light (L1) that irradiates and travels via the object (108) and is condensed on image plane (P) through microlenses (114a) of microlens array (114), and reference light (L2) that does not irradiate the object and is guided to the image plane by reference light optical system (109). A computer (113) acquires picked-up images sequentially from CCD image sensor (116) arranged on the image plane while changing optical path length of the reference light by movable stage (117), extracts interference light spots generated through interference between signal light component and the reference light from the picked-up images, calculates positions of the interference light spots, and calculates deviation amounts of positions from predetermined reference positions.

  • Patent number: 8517154
Abstract: A piston connected to a piston rod is fitted in a cylinder having a hydraulic oil sealed therein. Flows of hydraulic oil induced in extension and compression passages and by sliding movement of the piston are controlled by extension and compression damping force generating mechanisms, respectively, to generate damping force. In the extension and compression damping force generating mechanisms, the hydraulic oil is introduced into back pressure chambers through back pressure introducing passages, respectively, and the opening of relief valves is controlled by the pressures in the back pressure chambers, respectively. The inner peripheral portions of the relief valves are supported from their rear sides by support members to provide gaps on the front sides of the relief valves, respectively. When the relief valves open, their inner peripheral edge portions move within the gaps pivotally about the support members as fulcrums, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20130081439
Abstract: A manufacturing method for a cup-shaped member including a corrugated portion includes a drawing step, a preliminary processing step, and a finishing step. In the preliminary processing step, at least preliminary large diameter portions in a preliminary corrugated portion are each formed to have a width larger than the size of each of the large diameter portions of the corrugated portion, thereby reducing an ironing resistance in the manufacturing of the cup-shaped member.

  • Patent number: 8342303
Abstract: A check valve, a retainer and a washer are secured to a valve body by inserting a pin therethrough and staking a distal end portion of the pin to form a staked portion. A restraining member is interposed between the washer and the staked portion. The fit clearance between the restraining member and the shank of the pin is set smaller than the fit clearance between the check valve, the retainer and the washer on the one hand and the shank of the pin on the other. Thus, when the distal end portion of the pin is staked, the deformation of the shank of the pin is restrained by the restraining member that defines a small clearance between the same and the pin. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the enlargement in diameter of a portion of the pin where the check valve is fitted and hence possible to prevent deformation of the check valve. Thus, stable valve characteristics can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 8267382
Abstract: Before inner components of a hydraulic shock absorber, such as a cylinder, a piston and a piston rod, are placed, an outer shell is joined with a joint portion of an assembling apparatus so that a gas pressure chamber and the outer shell are in communication with each other. A low-pressure gas is supplied in the gas pressure chamber and the outer shell. Under a pressure of the low-pressure chamber, an oil tank subassembly is inserted in the outer shell and is fitted therein to form an oil tank. The oil tank is divided into an oil chamber and a gas chamber by a diaphragm. By this assembling method, it is possible to supply the low-pressure gas into the gas chamber without a need for a gas-supplying hole for supplying the gas into the gas chamber.

  • Publication number: 20120080098
Abstract: A cutting liquid supply device in a machine tool is configured to remove gas mixed in a cutting liquid supply line to improve the response of discharging a mist of cutting liquid. Cutting liquid is supplied from a pump (42) through a rotary joint (28) to a mist generation device (24) within a rotating spindle (29). The pressure of the cutting liquid is measured by a pressure sensor (47). An air vent device (30) for opening and closing, with respect to atmospheric pressure, piping (3) that supplies the cutting liquid is provided above the rotary joint (28). A detection signal is inputted in the control board (70) from the pressure sensor (47), and when the control board (70) detects, after the pump (42) stops the supply of the cutting liquid to the piping (3), that the pressure of the cutting liquid does not decrease to a level lower than a predetermined threshold value, the control board (70) instructs the air vent device (30) to open the piping (4) to the atmosphere.
